Which leather jacket

Just had a nice recognition award at work which means I can treat myself to a new leather jacket in the all saints sale. I’ve ordered two but wanted opinions on which to go for. I’m a size 12, 5ft 5. I had an Atkinson from 2016 which I loved but then ruined with my son’s swimming kit (don’t ask!!!)

Anyway the two I’m thinking of are

Any opinions on these please? Part of me thinks I might need two....

Both lovely but the 'best' will depend on your colouring, I doubt these two colours would suit the same person as well as each other.

I’m not keen on leather jackets in any colour other than black.

I’m not particularly keen on black jackets (not sure why...) I love the colour of the second one but think that the colouring of the first may suit me more (naturally dark but blonde to hide the grey, hazel eyes). I’ll try them both and see which one wins (although if anyone can help me justify keeping both please do!)

I prefer the second one.

I liked the olive one online but in real life it looked a bit too much like a dead toad for my liking, or zombie flesh.

The grey you would likely get more wear out of don't you think?

Not a fan of leather bikers unless in black really, so that clouds my judgement somewhat.

I've got the Balfern in dusty pink, and it's a thing of beauty. I'm hoping to get a black one in the sales.

Oh and I'm 5'7'' and usually a small or 8-10 in shops but got this in a 12 and it looked much better than the 10. Wear 29'' waist in their jeans.

Second one . I've got a grey mushroom one and it's so versatile. I do love my black jacket but sometimes it's nice to be a bit of a softer colour .

So they arrived today and I really like them both. I love the colour of the balfern but it’s a little shorter and less forgiving when fastened than the Elva. My husband says the colour of the Elva suits me, and the longer style is lovely. Both will probably hang in the wardrobe for Christmas whilst I make a decision.

Oh, and don't fasten them. Much better fairly fitted at the back, and left open imho.

I just wonder if I can justify keeping them both... They would work with different outfits. My husband definitely prefers the olive one, but there’s just something about the grey...

The grey. Don’t keep both. If you still want the olive buy it next year. In evening light they will look like the same jacket.

Personally, if I was going to splurge on two, I'd go for the grey and then a black one.

Prefer the olive. I don't like belts on biker jackets. They look too fussy to me. Also they flap about and can get lost.
