Thank you everyone, it was a first for me, interviewing in a completely different sector to my current job, but much more in line with my qualifications, so I’m keeping everything crossed!

I am also trying a no spend, my wardrobe is fit to burst and I have no excuses for buying new clothes except for work because I have to, I am excited to play with what I have already a bit more, building outfits is one of my favourite things to do

Some great outfits over the weekend and yesterday (I especially love @OublietteBravo’s velvet jacket - think I’ve said before, but it’s just gorgeous). @crazyspaniellady fingers crossed for you! @Purplecatshopaholic that’s a really eye catching jacket.

I’ve stuck to my no spend Jan so far with one exception & that was something I’d been chasing since Boxing day sales & a return finally turned up in January so I reckon that doesn’t count! Still collecting my Next sale orders from December as they turn up in dribs & drabs so it feels like I’m still buying stuff though.

I'll be wearing my olive fly london boots when we go to tots time this morning and then switching to wellies for the pm school run as predicted more rain later

I’ve only bought the MV high tops in January (aside from underwear, which doesn’t count as it was on my permitted items list and is replacing worn out stuff). So far. I think I need to unsubscribe from some more mailing lists to remove a source of temptation.

Am cataloguing my clothes on Stylebook and gosh, I have a lot. It's actively nice to be reminded of how many nice things I have. Not overly useful as I rarely leave the house but still, when/if I ever get to go back to work, I'm ready!

Pink brogues from Finery London (for walking to work, with pink heels from Michael Kors for the office). Pink cardigan is from M&S.

In work today; my work outfits very much revolve around dresses. I need to dig further into my wardrobe! I also need to find somewhere better to take photos... 😆

I bought some new ankle boots yesterday from miss selfridge and they are killing my feet the size 7 were too big but these sixes are rubbing at the back.

These are the culprits!

Doing quite well on my no spend. I have cracked, but only in a charity shop. I got some fab Mint Velvet trousers for £4.40.

I’ve been thinking though, and as I don’t give money to charity on a regular basis (although I’m always sponsoring people for various charity events), I probably should continue with charity shopping a bit, shouldn’t I?

Been at work all week in my fetching Navy Blue uniform. Today I'm off and have just realised I'm in all Navy still!!!!!
Caved in with the no spend and bought a Joules dress in the sale (bloody dark blue I've just realised)🤦‍♀️ but I did remove everything else in my online basket so kind of a win.

So I'm fed up and have bought loads. Clearly my no spend was crap. Have sold some stuff but need to energise myself back to eBay to list.

Have just ordered 3 things from hush sale ( jumper dress and bag) and a suede jacket from M&S. All of which can go back if no good of course. I'm just bored I think but also FOMO on a bargain. No spend from tomorrow

With regards to FOMO on a bargain, that has been an issue for me too, mainly with charity shops. But I have realised I can’t buy all the bargains, and I don’t need all the bargains either!
I was chatting to the manager of one of the (especially good) local charity shops recently and she was saying she needs to be really really restrained as if she bought every good item that was donated, her entire house would be floor to ceiling full!

Some lovelt outfits today everyone. I am knackered and hormonal at the moment and look like I feel! Been working today but went for a casual day as couldn't be arsed:

Jumper: mint velvet (via charity shop Newlife)
Wide leg navy trousers (unknown voa Newlife poss white stuff)
Ugg Fritizi boots (these are new from Schuh imperfects. They were only £30 and had a metal thing on the laces missing but my local cobbler put a new one on for £2). They aren't the prettiest boot but they are so warm and comfortable.
