OMG, this is amazing - I need someone else to try it!

You know those face razor things you can get to dermaplane your face at home?

I did my face as usual, then absentmindedly did a bit of my leg..... it was AMAZING!!!

I thought I was exfoliating quite well as did those mitt things and a scrub once a week, but I clearly bloody wasn’t! The skin and fuzz and just general crap that came off just from a small section has made my day!

Maybe this should be in sporners, I’m not sure, but my leg is so soft and it just looks shinier and better some how.

Please someone else try it so I can share this wonder! (Or tell my my legs must be super yuck and yours are all normal and nothing happened!)

Need a link to this please!!

Ninjakittysmellz · 14/12/2019 10:10

these are the ones I use. I’m not sure if they are the official recommended ones, and I’ve never heard of people doing other body parts though, so please accept my gung-ho recommendation with caution!

I can believe it as my daughter did it on her legs (the bits she’d missed when shaving). It would take a long time to do both legs thoroughly though!

Ninjakittysmellz · 14/12/2019 10:11

Hang on!! I’m so unobservant, they actually have legs in one of their photos!

Have I been missing out all this time?!

goawayquickly your daughter is ahead of the time. The time passed very quickly as I was having so much fun.... I don’t get out much though Grin

Link pls! And photo! Thanks

Goawayquickly · 14/12/2019 10:17

I'm going to have a go I think!

daffyducked · 14/12/2019 10:18

Cheaper than the razors I use. If you use it around your eyebrows do you not get stubble?

Ninjakittysmellz · 14/12/2019 10:25

I don’t get stubble, but it’s more like a face exfoliater then a razer for me as I’ve had laser hair removal. I get chin hairs still, but I pluck those.

Pleaseeeeee try and report back. I found it so satisfying!

OP posts:
Ninjakittysmellz · 14/12/2019 10:25

Sorry I meant to say, I use normal razors on my legs (men’s Gillette Mach 3) I wouldn’t use it as hair removal option, but as an exfoliater it’s incredible!

Do you want to see a minging photo of the crap that came off my (other!) leg after doing about a square inch?!

I’m confused as style and beauty is NOT sporners corner, so I can’t work out if it’s over sharing over here!

OP posts:
shadyzadie · 14/12/2019 20:15

OP, what do you use with it? Shaving foam? I have one and am willing to have a go!

Ninjakittysmellz · 14/12/2019 20:33

No, just dry! You sort of scrape it in little movements against the skin. Try it now! Pleaaasseee! It’s not really to get rid of hair as such(though it does!) it takes off the top layer of the skin. Oooh please try and tell me I’m not bananas!

I use scalpels for my face... hang on and I will try

Ninjakittysmellz · 14/12/2019 20:52

Yes!! Ooh I’m so excited to hear your results - I know no one wanted to see it, but this was the crap I got off about a square inch of my leg before. I mean, amazing!!!! If I did my whole body I could lose half a stone by Christmas at that rate!

OMG, this is amazing - I need someone else to try it!

PreseaCombatir · 14/12/2019 20:55

Ooh, I have those somewhere. When I dig them out am going to try this

ClientListQueen · 14/12/2019 20:56

Well I exfoliate and moisturise but... yeah my leg feels like silk on one patch now! I took a photo but it's grim

Ginkypig · 14/12/2019 20:58

Ye of course if there is a photo then it should always be shown!

AllYouGoodGoodPeople · 14/12/2019 20:58

If that blows your mind, you should try a callous blade on your heels -

Ever Ready Corn & Callus Trimmer www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07SSGGMNK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_PXu9DbKK7WX1T?tag=mumsnetforu03-21

It's basically a dead skin razor and will leave your feet a half size smaller.

Ninjakittysmellz · 14/12/2019 21:00

client I’m so glad there’s 2 of us in the gang now! I keep stroking my legs Grin I used to exfoliate weekly with a scrub and used those mitt things, but this was a game changer! My knees were glorious with the crap that came off them!

OP posts:
duktig · 14/12/2019 21:01

Wtaf! I have no idea what a dermaplaner is! How do you not cut yourself! I want smooth legs!

ClientListQueen · 14/12/2019 21:04

Fine Grin I used my sock as it's got a hole and is going in the bin (I'm not a complete minger)
Mostly dead skin I think

MargeSimpsonswig · 14/12/2019 21:11

I just tried this and gets loads of dead skin off. Tha is for the tip OP.

I've smothered legs in Egyptian magic so they will be extra soft tomorrow.

This is a must try!!

BumbleBeee69 · 14/12/2019 21:18

I use these for my eyebrows... have done for years.. they are fabulous cheap and convenient Grin

Ninjakittysmellz · 14/12/2019 21:22

I am so happy people are joining me in this discovery! BumbleBeeee go get one and try on your leg now!

client was there a photo of the sock / skin photo?! I can’t see it!

duktig I am the most clumsy person ever, but they aren’t sharp as such - you sort of use them to scrape!

Oh!! And I NEED a callous remover!! I used to have one years ago and had forgotten they existed. Honestly, I’m a bit pissed, but I’m so happy about this tonight! Haha!
