Another dress opinion thread

Hi all
I have my work night out tomorrow. I've had a crap year with my health this year (perianal abcess and fistula which is still ongoing) and with how rubbish I've been feeling I havent dressed up in well over 6 months since it first started. I cant drink with the meds I'm currently on so I'm going to feel self conscious enough going out anyway when everyone will be merry so i just want to wear something that makes me look half decent for my own self confidence.
What is your opinion on this dress? I plan on dressing up with some black and gold statement earrings and a black and gold clutch. I really have lost all self confidence over the last few months (it's no fun constantly having a leaking raw arse!) so really not sure if I've got it completely wrong with this dress.
Happy to take feedback (positive and negative). Is this dress ok for a saturday night works night out?

Thank you! Not too boring and 'safe'? I am mid-30s and have put about a stone on whilst I've been ill so I think I'm just being too self critical and keep looking at all of my negative bits in the mirror Confused

That looks lovely! If you've put in weight then you either carry it well or you were very thin before - I'd kill fluffy bunnies for a body like that!

**EnglishRain - Lol this must be some kind of miracle dress as I'm definately not tall and slim - 5 ft 5 and a size 10/12 but thank you for the compliment
