I'm looking for a black mascara, that adds volume and length, around the £10 mark (although bonus if it costs less!) I used to use L'oréal Voluminous but it's not the same as it was 🤷🏻‍♀️

Maybelline in the pink metallic tube.

I love the Rimmel gradual dye one-Makes your lashes look fab even when they're naked!

DHC tubing. Washes off when you want, stays put until you do. But, only available in black. And a bit dearer.

I totally meant L’Oréal baby roll on my previous post autocorrect changed it to doll! Grin

DaisyChainsForever · 10/12/2019 23:35

Any by Max Factor!

I prefer waterproof versions but have stuck with MF for over 30 years now despite trying more expensive brands and being less than impressed.

Although I like Benefit roll on it is not waterproof. I have some Collection, the Boots natural collection waterproof which as another poster says is not totally waterproof.

I also love the Essence (Wilco) Princess Mascara which is waterproof.

At the moment I have a smashbox one which I had used before and didn't think much of but am back on it. It survived yestardays deluge (which is more than can be said for me!!!). Just checked and it is called Full Exposure.

I have also liked Revlon, Maybelline and L'oreal. I have tried Max Factor ones but they are a bit meh on me. I have some Boots ones (waterproof, always) and they ae ok too.

NYX Worth The Hype. It actually makes my eyelashes too long (they hit on my glasses when I use this mascara)

halloumi2019 · 11/12/2019 10:07

Don’t see the need for waterproof mascara in my day to day life. My normal Benefit Rollerlash mascara doesn’t smudge or flake.

If you have hayfever or watery eyes then waterproof or tubing mascara is essential.

BusterGonad · 13/12/2019 16:30

I hate waterproof mascara.

MadameButterface · 19/12/2019 17:55

Essence, collection, barry m and primark are all cruelty free @Hepsibar :)

Lash Surge by Collection. Fantastic. Saw it here and took a note. Under a fiver and luscious. Works soooooo well.

astralweaks · 19/12/2019 18:45

Got the brown-black one.

NYX Worth The Hype Waterproof. It looks natural but way better. I swim and its the only stuff that I have found that doesn't come off. And I've tried loads.
