Quick Bra help please

I’m usually a 36C but recently have put some weight on and current (fairly old) bras are digging in and leaving marks on my sides/back.

So I’m looking to buy a couple of new ones while I tackle the weight gain. My actual boobs haven’t grown, just a bit of back fat.

So I need help with what bra size to get? I know it isn’t as simple as just getting a 38C but I’m a bit confused as to what I do need.

OP, careful with on line orders. Fewer places are now offering free returns. Check it is free, otherwise they could prove to be expensive bras.

It’s very doubtful you’re only a C cup! I always wore a 36 C, but recently went to Bravisamo to get measured as I never felt that comfy. Walked out in a 30FF!! Always assumed my boobs were smallish 😂

Yes but op has said she's a 20 so she's not going to be a 30 back.
Some ladies do have more flesh around the sides of the bust or underarms that doesn't fit in to the cup itself.

I think it’s difficult to imagine because most (lots?) of larger ladies have big breasts, but I genuinely don’t.

The cup on a 36E is not large at all. For a size 20 that is indeed a small bosom.

You have to forget all your cup size associations!
