Do our uk shops actually have black Friday sales? I've never paid attention before and I need some new trousers. I was about to buy them yesterday when I realised perhaps I should wait a few days??? The shop I'm interested in is zara

Ir Toast, but I think I couldn't afford them even in a sale.

They did previously (don’t know about this particular store) but after all the rushing and barging and fighting I don’t know if they will this year! Hope so! You could phone them? Sometimes the staff know about stuff in advance, sometimes not. May be worth a try?

I would only do the shopping on line. Nothing can convince me to compete physically for clothing purchases!

A blanket 20% off is relatively common in UK stores. Zara definitely did some BF discounts last year, not sure about Toast. I’d wait.

Yes, they do, you need to sign up to the newsletters of the brands you're interested in. Early access has already started at some places as they all start competing to get you to spend your money with them first.

Having said that, I'm pretty sure Toast don't participate. Same with Jigsaw if I remember too. Toast do have an amazing sale though so worth getting their newsletter for notifications of that as stuff sells out really quickly.

Thanks. I've signed up to toast and decided against Zara after googling showed mixed reception on the quality.
