Best tinted moisturiser

Hi!
So I’m looking for a good tinted moisturiser, I have really combination skin and bad acne round my jawline and on my chin.
The only foundation that really works is Estée Lauder double wear, but it’s so expensive I’m looking into tinted moisturisers instead. I currently use a NYX one but it doesn’t seem to have that much coverage and makes my skin quite dry.

Any ideas? Just to add I’m really pale and as well as acne have acne scars.

Boots No 7 city light. Dab on, leave for 3 seconds before spreading out. Nice and light but gives nice even colour.

Tinted moisturiser is a difficult one because by nature, it is supposed to provide lighter coverage.

I’ve got a great one by IT Cosmetics which is a CC cream and is fairly buildable.

Dermablend does great coverage and you might find something in the right price range.

Thank you both I will have a look into them :)

Laura Mercier is the one I use. Highly recommend it.

I love boots no 7 bb or cc cream. Different variations available for skin types and shades. I find when applied with a brush it gives good coverage for my mature (48) skin without looking caky. Also reasonably priced! I occasionally try other brands but always go back the the no 7 one as it suits my skin type best.

I love origins ginzeng tinted moisturiser

peachgreen · 13/11/2019 14:38

For a cheaper option I've found this Garnier one very good, and great at keeping my skin clear. Has to be this tall thin one, the one in the squatter package isn't as good imo.

Marks and Spencer's Autograph BB tinted moisturiser is pretty good.

desperatesux · 13/11/2019 16:26

Laura Mercier is AMAZING but I am not loving the new version, the old one was far better I think but the new one has more coverage if that is what you are looking for

thinkingcapon · 13/11/2019 16:29

Ex mua here! Agree with pp, the L'Oréal bb cream. Absolute no brainier. Great coverage by far the best in fact even better than some high end products! X

SparkyBlue · 13/11/2019 16:33

Boots no 7 BB cream is fabulous. I use it all the time now instead of foundation. I have really oily skin and this is seriously the best thing I have used . Actually not sure if it's BB or CC that I use.

Bare minerals complexion rescue is wonderful

FullSteamBehind · 13/11/2019 19:22

Another Laura Mercier fan. It lasts ages too.

Serenity45 · 13/11/2019 19:28

Another one here for Bareminerals complexion rescue! I've used it for about 2 years now after going off Estee Lauder and the Garnier ones.

It's buildabke coverage, so on good skin days just a light layer. If I want extra coverage I can do another layer and it won't go cakey. Never really had compliments about make up before using it either. Full price is close to £30 But Gorgeous Shop regularly has it on offer and I generally stock up when it's about £22 with sale or voucher code.

MustardScreams · 13/11/2019 19:30

IT Cosmetics is my favourite. Just makes my skin look glowy and beautiful.

mizu · 13/11/2019 19:33

Laura Mercier for me too. Still using the old one, heard there is a new version.........

mustangsly · 13/11/2019 19:34

Laura Mercier. By far.

I have worn the old one for a good few years, having tried zillions of other brands. Their new formula works really well, possible even better, on my skin.

Fjord1983 · 13/11/2019 19:34

Another vote for the BareMinerals complexion rescue

Alicatz66 · 13/11/2019 19:40

I don't like tinted moisturiser.. but I've found a really good light coverage foundation .. Revolution foundation drops ... cheap as chips fro Superdrug

superfandango · 13/11/2019 19:50

Another vote for Bare Minerals complexion rescue. I've been using it for a year and love it. Although I'm currently considering trying out IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better. @MustardScreams were you able to try it in a shop to get a colour match first? No where near me stocks it and I'm not sure which version of "pasty Scot" I should get Grin

superfandango · 13/11/2019 19:51

Oh and if you want a foundation that's not too expensive, I like L'Oreal True Match liquid foundation.

Thisismyusernamefornow · 13/11/2019 19:53

Nars do a lovely one.

DonkeyHotty · 13/11/2019 19:54

Just came on to say Laura Marcier too!

loutypips · 13/11/2019 19:55

Bareminerals complexion rescue. It's really good.
