Well the model is 5'8 and it's mid calf on her. I'm 5'1 and a half and have little success with hush dresses. The two sale dresses I've had are ankle length, should be below knee

And I would say in general Hush sizing is mad. I'm a s10 ( tops and dress) and often get size 6 in hush

Is everyone going to the sample sale? I’m going on Thursday. Not really made a list yet, any suggestions? Would love a leather jacket obv but might be a bit much to hope for?

@sooverthrmill - I've been a swithering about that jacket but unsure of the colour. In natural light would you describe it as pinky or beige? It looks so lovely and hoping it's pinky :)

@AmptjerFuckingUsername I have this jacket and I would say its nude in colour. Its inbetween pink and beige.

@DishwasherJan it's gone down by £20 overnight so I've reordered.
It was never less than £140 on BA I think. I think £170.

The colour is odd to describe. It looked crap in box but once out in daylight it was much better. And both DDs say it really suits me, better than the dark grey onyx I tried a few years ago. But I'm an English rose type colouring ( sorry can't think of better way of describing). I think slap between pink and beige. Not as pink as on website. Will try to take a better photo today. It's so grim and grey here though!

Nuts. The dress I ordered on Saturday has just gone down another £15. Oh well, at least it was via JL so returns are less hassle.

I came here to confess:

I caved. I bought a woollen scarf from Reiss and a bag from Whistles.

Both have been on my radar for months. Bag was an eBay purchase so got it for a great price, and the scarf was just about half price. I cannot resist accessories in the sale!!

Does anyone have the Britt parka? Considering it as it's on sale

Thanks 😊😊 I’m quite chuffed that I managed to get them both. I’ve got some stuff listed on eBay so hopefully I’ll make back the funds before too long.

About 1/4 of my 😇 is still sparkling and shiny, because I haven’t bought boots this season. I normally buy at least one pair in the sales after winter, plus usually a pair of whatever footwear at Timberland takes my fancy.

There’ll always be another sale...

@Daisy03 I think ellapaella ordered it last year but wasn’t mad about so sent it back.
Nink great purchases really lovely, hush sizing is mad the only dress that didn’t come past my ankles was the Miriam summer dress but that was meant to be a mini dress I think, trousers/jeans/skirts always to big unfortunately.
My 😇still in place so technically still on the no spend bench, dh gave me his card & ordered the blush onyx & black battersea boots as they were both reduced further this morning also hoping the colour suits me & yy not too yellow based either.

@Dishwasher, I'm going to the sale on Saturday, we went last year and really enjoyed it. I wouldn't bother with a list as it's a bit of a free for all! I was hoping for jumpers last year and didn't find any in my size but got a load of clothes and spent hours there !

Love the blush leather jacket although it is totally the wrong colour for me, I can admire it on others!

So jealous of those that are near sample sales. They never have any decent ones here in Scotland booooo

Well I've panicked into ordering the size 8 now to compare sizes. Luckily it will come tomorrow before DH is around or he will think I am insane

@Never we're driving to the sale from Manchester so 4 hours each way lol. I wish they'd do one out of London

@Sooverthemill is that the jacket? I reckon the 8 will be a better fit - you can afford to go snug with a leather jacket.

I’ve found some jewellery that I want. Which I might be able to get next month. I’ve also realised that I forgot all about Fairfax and Favour which is a newish brand (to me) that I really love. So I’m going to get a bag/boots and maybe a jacket in the 2021 Jan sales! 😁😁

@Ninkanink yes that's right. I have a duffest style of leather jacket ( from Pure collection) that is perfect in a 10 and all my proper coats are a 10. But reading about biker jackets made me think I might need smaller despite the reviews saying TTS. Even though it's a bargain price I want it perfect!

So tempted by that leather jacket . Trying to think of 3 things I can wear it with (rule of 3 everything must go with at least 3 other things)

@Sooverthemill yes, generally it’s better to size down because they tend to stretch.

@Countmeout a leather biker will go with almost everything, surely!
