Ahem... I may have broken my no spend rules and ordered this dress in the sale. I ordered the 8 because the reviews all said size up but actually it's too small so have ordered the 10. It's a pretty dress, nicer in real life.

@Ellapaella that dress is lovely and I'm sure it suits you. You'll get lots of wear.

I've just been rubbish and have bought a cardigan from jigsaw sale today ( green silk and cotton) and in the early hours I got a sweatshirt from a brand I really love. I'm miserable at the moment and know I'm buying to cheer myself up. I have to stop, but I'm certain that these buys will get lots of wear. I've downloaded the Stylebook app and am slowly cataloguing my clothes which is really quite interesting seeing what I actually wear and have already sold two pairs of jeans I don't wear often. This sort out should give me a really wearable wardrobe of clothes that I love

FuzzyPuffling · 14/01/2020 12:08

I've got the sewing machine out again today...watch this space...

newdecadenewname · 14/01/2020 13:38

What's everyone liking from the new in range?

Talisin · 14/01/2020 14:29

Absolutely zero at the moment. Might change when I can see it on a bigger screen than my phone but it all looks entirely meh right now.

mrslebon · 14/01/2020 14:46

I like the quilted khaki bomber jacket, but that's about it.

Countmeout · 14/01/2020 17:59

I like the colour pleat skirt simply because of the colour but I don’t think I need a second pleated skirt

Ellapaella · 14/01/2020 19:23

Nothing grabbing me at the moment. My favourite seasons for Hush are summer and Autumn so it's usually the May collection that I get most enthusiastic about.

OP posts:
Talisin · 14/01/2020 20:58

Nope, bigger screen didn’t help - still meh about all the new stuff. Good for my balance and Jan no spend though!

Ellapaella · 15/01/2020 14:02

My dress came. £30 in the sale, am so pleased with it. Not sure I'd have paid the full £79 but happy to pay £30.

Final look at the sale and I ordered these.

I cracked today and ordered the blue hero shirt and a red jumper (both in sale). I also ordered the plain grey sweatshirt and the pink canvas pumps from the new stuff but I really don't need anything else. I've managed to go for three months without buying any clothes so I'm planning nothing now until May

whiskyremorse · 15/01/2020 20:22

Soover the asymmetric dress is lovely, I know someone who has it and she always looks great in it.

Sooverthemill · 16/01/2020 09:04

@whiskyremorse is it past season? I think it may be but thought it worth a go as I live the tie front one I got at Christmas in the sale. Until that dress, I've never got on with Hush dresses at all. My 'your orders' is full of knees I've bought and sent back! I wish they would do a petite length, then I'd buy more dresses and skirts

Sooverthemill · 16/01/2020 09:05

So many typos . My iPad hates me

Sooverthemill · 16/01/2020 12:31

@whiskyremorse it's arrived and I'm unsure. It seems like a summer evening dress rather than W19 which is what it's labelled. Hmm. £45 is a lot if I end up not wearing it!

whiskyremorse · 16/01/2020 18:46

@Soover my friend wore the asymmetric dress a couple of times over the summer with animal print trainers and a denim jacket. Looked cool like that. What doesn't work for you?

EachandEveryone · 17/01/2020 00:48

Ive been in hospital again. Blooming hernia from my hysterectomy and I have to say the pain has been horrendous. Far worse than before. Even with the Oromorph on board I havent been tempted to buy.

I do need a decent day bag though if anyone has seen a medium sized one at a good price let me know x

whiskyremorse · 17/01/2020 17:16

@Each sorry to hear that. What type of bag are you looking for?

whiskyremorse · 17/01/2020 17:18

@Laska the Bombshell dresses have arrived and I'm really impressed. Lovely fabrics, they hang so nicely and are very flattering. The 'boss' is coming over to watch me try them on this weekend to see which she likes best. I have to register returns in 5 days for sale items so need to decide!

EachandEveryone · 17/01/2020 22:11

Oh take photos. Im going to a wedding in Canada in June and I have no idea what to wear.

Just an every day mid sized shoulderbag.

whiskyremorse · 18/01/2020 08:19

Would any of these suit? Recommend on another style and beauty post

Ninkanink · 19/01/2020 12:28

Hi everyone! 🌷🌷🌷

Just popping in to say hello, hope 2020 has been treating you all well!

I’ve had such a lean sales buying experience this year - bought one blouse, one shirt and am deliberating on a scarf which I definitely don’t need but really want!

Haven’t bought footwear or bag which are my big weaknesses. Feels good to be using all the things I already have and which I do love.

Ellapaella · 19/01/2020 14:34

👋 Nink Happy new year!
Asides from one dress that I got for £30 in the Hush sale I haven't bought anything (clothes or shoes) in 2020 so far and am trying to do a no spend until at least spring. I have ordered a pair of M&S jeans that were £8 in the sale simply because I will be wanting some pale denim jeans in the summer and the price was too good to miss. The dress filled a gap in my wardrobe so I'm not feeling too guilty about that.

ilovecherries · 19/01/2020 16:27

Hi nink!. So far this year I’ve bought three pairs of thermal leggings and a Reiss coat which I promised myself in October that I would buy if it reached 40% off in the sales. I held my nerve and got it for 60% off. Otherwise I’m trying to no spend till spring.
