Oh my god, though...with all the meticulous planning they do for these things why do Kate and William’s outfits not complement each other’s colours?? I wonder if he was gifted it on arrival and chose to wear it and that’s why it clashes so badly with Kate’s dress.

peridito · 15/10/2019 20:02

I love Kate and William in their evening clothes .I think William looks great ,so nice to have a change from a suit and the long length jacket is so sophisticated .I can't think of the right adjective ,the male equivalent of graceful and elegant .

Green reproduces v badly in photographs ,so who knows perhaps the match/missmarch was different in the flesh.

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 15/10/2019 20:07

I think William and Kate look amazing.
Wearing traditional dress and in the National Colour is a huge compliment to the hosts.

I really wasn’t expecting Kate to wear so many traditional outfits; but she has pulled out all the stops for this trip.
And William, definitely getting his column inches in his sherwani

Ninkaninus · 15/10/2019 20:08

I do like the suit on him, I think it looks good. Just seems really mismatched but it’s true, it could look quite different in person. I’ve not watched any videos to get a better idea of colours.

Myimaginarycathasfleas · 15/10/2019 20:11

It's possible that the greens are a better match than they look on camera. Or maybe they didn't want to look too co-ordinated.

I think it's a great look on William and he seems comfortable in it.

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 15/10/2019 20:13

William and Kate arriving in their rickshaw
They are definitely wearing the same shade of green

It’s almost always safer to go with a complementary colour - different shades don’t always go together and matching each other exactly looks ridiculous. It could perhaps be on the blue side but isn’t showing up properly. In any case, independently of each other I think they both look great.

AudacityOfHope · 15/10/2019 20:16

Surely our finest hour thus far @QueenOfTheAndals Grin

AudacityOfHope · 15/10/2019 20:20

I agree @Doyoureallyneedtoask

Good for her looking like most of us do post-pregnancy. Somewhere between old and new shape, and old and new style.

MotherofPearl · 15/10/2019 20:21

Love that Max & Wax photo - they always look so pleased with each other. She seems to be a genuinely joyful person.

Horsemad · 15/10/2019 20:22

Wow! Loving all of today's outfits, especially the beautiful blue and the gorgeous green shoes Kate wore earlier.

Meghan's figure reminds me of mine after my first baby. I lost the weight but ended up a completely different shape! Hips were quite pronounced afterwards - looked like a character from Mad Men...

mytinyfiredancers · 15/10/2019 20:23

DoC looks beautiful in the green. It's a lovely colour on her.

I have a baby a little older than Archie. I wish my 'stomach rolls' looked like the DoS's!!

Ninkaninus · 15/10/2019 20:23

Hmmm ok so marginally better than it looked on pics. I would have gone for a different colour for William like navy with a green element to tie in with Kate’s dress. But overall it’s a win for me.

Myimaginarycathasfleas · 15/10/2019 20:26

Do you have your own yoga studio though,@mytinyfiredancers Wink

StartupRepair · 15/10/2019 20:42

W and K look amazing. This seems like quite a full on tour and I bet they are missing their DC.

mytinyfiredancers · 15/10/2019 20:57

Sadly not @Myimaginarycathasfleas . I imagine I do a lot more shoving of toast/and or biscuits down my throat instead of healthy meals with a baby and a preschooler at home than she does too! Grin

Still, help or not she looks impressive for a woman who only had a baby a few short months ago. I love that she hasn't pinged immediately back to super slim. I hope she's feeling happy and confident in her skin. Lots of new mums don't.

Whattheother2catsprefer · 15/10/2019 21:00

@AdaColeman I like Camilla's hat if it had been in an Autumn colour (or even colours) I would love it.

AdaColeman · 15/10/2019 21:14

Whattheother Yes, bronze and golds with a warm cream outfit would have been fab!

TSSDNCOP · 15/10/2019 21:23

The outfits look more aligned in the Twitter feed than in stills. I liked Kate’s blue outfit and the scarf and shoes in the green outfit. The winner though was the evening dress. I’d have been having a right bloody laugh in that absolutely fab rickshaw. That’d need to get shipped home.

Laiste · 15/10/2019 21:27

Ah W & K look stunning! Love the dark green on both of them and good on him for joining Kate with a bit of culture wear.

She has no clutch bag as far as i can see. I'd be lost without something to do with my hands!

BertrandRussell · 15/10/2019 21:30

I do hate it when people curtsey to them!!

DevonUkelele · 15/10/2019 21:38

Hmm William's getup is not really for me. Kate does look fab though. I'm loving the blingy jewellery she's indulged in so far - especially the earrings. More please!

Meghan has, to me anyway, a very womanly figure post-baby. She's got hips and a bum and boobs - all there before but more obvious now. I think it's terrific, and hope it lasts.

Green is always good on her, but yes it possibly is a bit snug. The coat over the shoulders thing - nope!

paradyning · 15/10/2019 21:51

Me too @mytinyfiredancers. Wish my folds were like hers!
