According to their private secretary and/or Kensington Palace: "Pakistan hosts one of Britain's largest overseas networks, with the British High Commission in Islamabad being one of the UK's largest diplomatic missions in the world. The UK's links with Pakistan are extensive...." Then later, the programme will "pay respect to the historical relationship between Britain and Pakistan and it will largely focus on showcasing Pakistan as it is today - a dynamic, aspirational and forward-looking nation."
Quite honestly, I'm not sure what Britain's overseas networks and their size actually mean, but I'm assuming this all means the country's relationship with Pakistan is more important than we perhaps realise.
I think one thing that the RF is slowly getting better at is giving context. I'm not sure, but I think this might be driven in part by people like Meghan who I imagine come along with more experienced media hats on and say, "hang on, but WHY are we doing x or y? what's the point? What's the benefit? We should spell this out." Certainly, a LOT of the articles on the SA tour pointed out the value of trade relationships between the UK and Africa and why it's important etc.
