Plus size what are you wearing today

Hi guys,
I love browsing the what are you wearing today thread but being plussize (Size 26) I often can't take inspiration from it. I wondered if any other size 18+ would like to share what they are wearing today?

Ilovetofu A gold dress is always a good idea.

Today I wore a Matalan Jersey maxi skirt that I got about 5 years ago, with a cashmere short sleeved jumper from M&S, an Asda boyfriend cardy, and Doc Martens. I was at work so needed to be comfy.

I'm at my other weekend job tomorrow and will wear a checked woollen Lindy Bop pinafore dress, black shirt, Snag tights and probably my DMs again for comfort. I tend to veer between overdressed, alternative and frumpy. I wish I could be polished!

I'm 5'8" and a size 18. Today I wore indigo Sophia jeans from M&S (very soft and stretchy), a navy and pink striped Boden Breton (a bit like the Jack Wills stripe) and a loose fit navy jumper from White Stuff (short sleeves so you could see the stripes).
I'm trying to be more adventurous with what I wear - I'm too easily put off by what I think other people will think.

I'm currently wearing my pyjamas, I've been cutting out fabric ready to sew my daughter some more sanitary towels.

It's a rugby tournament later so something warm and my big coat because it's still raining here.

Wallywobbles are you in the UK? I watch loads of clothes hauls on YouTube and alot of the Americans do old Navy ones but I thought it wasn't available here.

Wish there was a torrid shop in uk, so much nice stuff but expensive with shipping on top

Denim dress, mustard yellow tights. Am in the house so no shoes at the moment, but brown boots and belt. Am an apple shape so my legs are the best bit

Dusky pink peasant style blouse with bottle green cord pinafore from Lindy bop, black snag tights and green/grey ankle boots from Evans. Fluffy white oversized cardigan when chilly. I might look ridiculous but feel very fairytale.

I think I’m going to have to get some snag tights ( I have their chub rub shorts... they’re good and no plastic packaging). One of the things I saw on their website was that conventional tights are all the same width irrespective of size so an extra large is just longer not wider. So no wonder I’m hopping about trying to get them on. ( and bloody hell some of them have the weirdest seam arrangements going on).

Anyway to answer the question today I’m wearing a long black pleated skirt from M&S and an oxblood sweater from a charity shop ( label French Connection). The sweater is hip length and has an interesting pleat in the back. I’ve got black lace ups from Clarks ( not technically brogues but along the same lines) and ive borrowed my husbands Daks mac which is black, single breasted and long. He got it very cheaply on eBay. The sleeves are a bit long but I like oversized. The whole look is very Cos.

Black trackies, charcoal t-shirt and big chunky black cardigan and fluffy pink socks, accessorised with a fat grey cat and a box of tissues. I am sick with some manky virus so it's a sofa blanket day.

I have some snag tights on the way. I was recommended some so bought them and then bought some clothes to go with them!

Today I have black trousers, grey long sleeved top and grey cardigan with a really bright string of beads.

Cosy (mostly) at home day today. Grey jeggings from M&S with oversize khaki v-neck t shirt and Hush charcoal long cocoon cardigan. Finished off with toasty fleece-lined black biker boots (Ugg) to venture out into the foul weather.... Find myself wearing long cardigans and chunky boots a lot at the moment.

@CrowleysBentley, a furry fat cat is the best accessory! Hope it kept you company.

I'm up early today because I am going to London. I can't decide what to wear but it needs to be more corporate than my usual work wear.

Black tights, green cord mini skirt ( with huge pockets, I love it!) Sparkly black tshirt and black blazer. Currently with converse, but will put some ankle boots on when I get in the office.

Practical dog walking clothes today which I hate wearing.
I'm a size 18/20 and it's all belly.
I've really lost my way with clothes since I'm this size. It's horrible, I rarely feel confident in what I'm wearing.

I’ve got a long black pencil skirt from ASOS, a yellow and white long sleeved t shirt and over the top a black “ interesting “ shorter sleeved top from COS ( it’s a bit more stylish than a plain black t shirt ). I’ve got matte black Dr Marten lace ups that a random guy came up to me to discuss. I am very unaccountably pleased that the yellow stitching on the shoes matches my striped T. I also wangled my DHs black Mac again which i hope will find a permanent place in my wardrobe. I’m a 16/18 but it’s distributed fairly evenly although my DD7 does tell me I have a huge ass.

Today I’m wearing black leggings with a floral shirt dress from matalan curve, a long knitted cardigan and gold converse.

I’ve got some snag tights on the way.

Size 16-18 here. Smart Workday so wearing a pink, blue and black splashy Cos dress, with black tights and wine ankle boots. With a loose black boiled wool 3/4 length jacket from white company.

I am a 14/16, but I much prefer plus size fashion, as I find the cuts etc more flattering. I have recently gone up a dress size and I am not dieting my way back to a 12/14. I have managed to mess up my eating habits with years of restriction and I need a break from the madness!

Anyway, excuse rant. I hope you don't mind me joining you.

I am wearing a (size 16 tall), black skater dress from Asos, black opaque tights, a lovely, Spanish looking, (I think - not an expert), heart pendant I found in a charity shop and knee high brown leather riding boots, which are ancient, from Office.

Ripped skinny jeans and a khaki sweatshirt from Boohoo. I've decided at 49 I'm going to dress for the age I wish I was 😂😂

If it makes you feel any better, I have just ordered a pair of dungarees from Lucy & Yak...so I will most likely look like an overgrown toddler 😂.

I'm about to turn 36 (years, not months).
