Plus size what are you wearing today

Hi guys,
I love browsing the what are you wearing today thread but being plussize (Size 26) I often can't take inspiration from it. I wondered if any other size 18+ would like to share what they are wearing today?

Diesel I've looked on Insta, but find most a bit far out for me.

I've spent the last few years comparing myself to others close to me who are very slim and beautiful and feeling inferior, imagining what they say about me behind my back based on what I've heard them day about other slightly larger ladies I've now distanced myself from them, because it really wasn't good for my mental health, and I'm starting to feel slightly better, now I'm not comparing myself. This thread is definitely helping.

Interesting comment about comparison for me to come in on. I made a shopping mistake... I make a fair few of them as it happens. I bought these stupid trousers from Zaggora and when they arrived they were like cheap jersey they make school uniform from. Sadly they only offered a store credit or exchange ..... I should have exchanged for the navy but didn’t. I wore them today with a dark green thrifted men’s cardigan and my green teddy coat. They were ok. Then I saw a super chic woman in a cream knee length coat, black knee high boots and a nice handbag... hair pulled back in a chic ponytail. I felt crappy I have to be honest. Comparison really is the thief of joy.

They’re quite wide leg. They’re now charging £69 which is daylight robbery. I paid £59.... what a swizz.

I rarely look at other people- not deliberately, just that I'm going about my business and assume they are too. I might notice a really lovely looking person- but that's likely to be that they are lively, smiley, and have a nice outfit rather than just their clothes and body. It's very much about how people move for me, bounce in their step, engaging with what's around them.

Dive bar. Your clothes today are really cool and edgy. The super chic woman probably felt really boring and play safe when she saw you. Anyway who the fuck has a cream coat lifestyle?

Sorry @adollop meant you tube not instagram! It's too far out for me too, i never was a cropped top and hot pants girl (unfortunately!) i like 'it's em' on YouTube she's down to earth and shops in high street shops and budget online sites. Might be worth a look. Hopefully we can get some more recommendations from other posters too

Hopefully I can take a photo when I get to the office but I am wearing a skirt today! I have not worn a skirt unless it is baking hot ever. I have burgundy snag tights, a charcoal pencil skirt, a burgundy scoop neck long sleeve T shirt and a black cardigan.

If your plus sized Whitestuff and Seasalt have started doing bigger sizes up to about a size 24 I think rather than stoping at an 18. Most things carer for those of average height but some of the models of some items are 5’10 or 5’11,
They are not cheap but if you sign up to the mailing list you get 15% off and from time to time they have 20% or 25% off codes. I have bought one or two things lately. I especially love the backwater jersey skirt comfortable and versatile.

Hi ladies - I have been lurking and loving this thread. Some inspirational ideas from you all. Just de-lurking to say that I had a personal shop with Kim from Styled by Susie a few weeks ago. She is absolutely lovely and I came away with some fabulous outfits - and I wouldn't have tried ANYTHING I ended up buying if she hadn't suggested it. I would recommend a personal shop with her for sure - and am now thinking about going the whole hog and getting an online analysis done with them.

poorremus Hi I Looked online at it when it was mentioned before ( not having heard of her / them before ). Did you just go shopping or did they do a review of your wardrobe first ?

Lurker here. Can I ask what the sizing on Snag tights is like? According to the size chart I’d be either an E or F, and know they say to size up if you’re unsure but I have really slim legs for my size so I’m a bit worried that F would be far too big around the thigh. Size 22(ish) apple shape so not sure if I’m classed as athletic or curvy.

@FruitSaladSandwich I wear a size F and I'm 5ft 10 and a 16, I fit an E but find the F better as more stretchy

How tall are you, Fruit Salad? I went F and they are a bit long in the leg. I'm a 22 hip, and 5'6". Very heavy legs.

An old maternity jumper from H&M, should ditch it but I love it.
The usual black Bon Marché jeans. Size 20.

I hope that the funky top and cleavage draw the eye away from the pear below!
