I hate my body

I hate my arms

The prospect of dress shopping has been making me feel physically ill

I felt good in this though Blush

Las Vegas wedding so I didn't want a massive fluffy thing - even though most of them are beautiful

What do we think of this wedding dress?

I agree with SinglePringle about the belt Op though if you don’t mind me saying .

sam221 · 06/10/2019 00:25

You look stunning! Honestly that dress is perfect for you, have lovely wedding Vegas.

DarkDarkNight · 06/10/2019 00:26

It looks great on you and it’s a lovely dress.

If you feel great in it it’s a winner. You need to be comfortable, especially if you’re lacking in confidence.

Deadringer · 06/10/2019 00:28

You look lovely, congratulations

MissConductUS · 06/10/2019 00:31

Assuming it's not wildly expensive, you lucked out. You look lovely in it. And there is nothing wrong with your arms. Smile

If you don't mind sharing, why Las Vegas as the location?

Good luck with the wedding!

1forAll74 · 06/10/2019 00:35

Your dress is lovely. and you like it. so that is all that matters. My son was married in Las Vegas many years ago. and his new wife wore a simple.but lovely, long white dress, with a garland of flowers in her dark hair, a bit hippyish, and he had a cowboy hat on. anything goes in Las Vegas.

MoltonSilver · 06/10/2019 00:40

There is absolutely nothing wrong with your arms or your body! The dress is very nice but there is no reason on the world for you to dread dress shopping.

Aprillygirl · 06/10/2019 01:08

Nothing wrong with your arms or your body. I don't much like the belt on the dress, but apart from that it looks lovely.

ReadyPayerTwo · 06/10/2019 02:17

You look gorgeous! Go for it!

peachgreen · 06/10/2019 02:33

You look absolutely beautiful. Do share a photo of you on the day, I'd love to see it. Gorgeous dress.

Rachelover60 · 06/10/2019 07:25

I have to say I can't see anything wrong with your arms.
You'll look great on the day, all glowing, beautiful bouquet.

Adviceplease1234 · 06/10/2019 09:54

You look amazing! It's a beautiful dress.

Starfish83 · 06/10/2019 10:15

Beautiful dress and you look beautiful in it. (Nothing wrong with your arms!) x

jamesbluntssupermodels · 06/10/2019 11:54

Hi 👋🏼 I'm back

I'm standing on a four inch box thing 🙈 so I'm aware I look quite tall..

I bought the belt (it wasn't £££) but I'll see what my own dressmaker thinks - she's been in the business forever and will tell me the truth - she's known me since I was a child

I went to that Wed2B which is very reasonable. I really only went there to try on different styles

I did want a short dress but I'm in NI and the options here are fairly limited. Getting married in June so getting a dress made and then altered would have been cutting it a bit tight - plus factor in MY FEAR

And re: why Vegas?

We love Vegas. We're going in a few weeks to pick a venue - I'm letting my DFiance pick a chapel, I'm very chilled out and don't mind where

We're staying in Caesars Palace for a week and the weather is guaranteed..we'll rent a Mustang and mooch about. Bliss ✨

S&B friends - one more ask 🙈

I hate heels but I will need them. I can walk in wedge and platform heels

Can I get away with a wedge type? I doubt you'll be able to properly see them once the alterations have been done

Can I get something a wee bit out there? Just as a nod to Vegas?

What do you think? 🙂

OP posts:
Ninkaninus · 06/10/2019 12:01

Yes you can wear a wedge. But you could also consider just a block heel, they are very easy to walk in.

Something like this:

uk.monsoon.co.uk/view/product/uk_catalog/mon_4.13/6555674642?skipRedirection=true

Don’t try to go too high. It’ll just look ungainly when you can’t walk in them.

You could get something out there if you want to - it’s your wedding day, you can do whatever you want! But personally I would still want to go classic and timeless.

Hederex · 06/10/2019 12:02

Yes yes yes. You look amazing, once it's fitted it'll be utterly perfect.

FeckOffGraham · 06/10/2019 12:29

No longer available, annoyingly, but I love these!

Add height, but don't lose comfort 👍.

jamesbluntssupermodels · 06/10/2019 12:39

These aren't bad for £49 although I'd pay up to £200 for decent shoes

What about some funky irregular choice shoes Wink

sparklefarts · 06/10/2019 15:00

I absolutely love that dress OP. Perfect on you

Erinsmum22 · 06/10/2019 15:47

You look amazing! X

SuperBadPig · 06/10/2019 15:52

I love it! You look amazing in it too.

It’s actually very similar to the dresses I had seen online and thought I was going to get for myself but when I went dress shopping (also yesterday!) they did nothing for me so I’m a little bit envious.

1ToughCookie · 06/10/2019 16:54

I wore wedges under my wedding dress. It was very cute! Not to mention the only way to wear heels on lawn.

thatwasMauijustmessingaround · 06/10/2019 16:56

Well your body is gorgeous and there's nowt wrong at all with your arms. Wish I had your figure!

Dress is nice 😊
