@Ninkaninus if you can get hold of it, you need to try Nailtiques Formula number 2. It's a teeny bottle for about £15, but it worked miracles on my peeling, flaking nails. They're thicker and I actually have to file then shorter due to being annoyed at their length, instead of doing it because they've broken.

It's out of stock in a lot of places at the moment. If anyone finds it, please let me know!

I changed my polish yesterday to a flakey purple. Purple is autumnal in my book.

Ninkaninus have you tried Sally Hansen? I used Hard as Nails and i swear by it! You can use it as a basecoat too.

There are some lovely colours on here. I usually paint my nails a couple of times a week but have got out of the habit in the last month. I’ve been having a sort out and I seem to have a lot more summery colours than autumn so a shopping trip may be in order - I have a bit of a ‘thing’ for nail varnish, especially Essie.
