As it’s the 1st of October today I’m feeling very autumnal
What are you all wearing colour wise at the moment

I'm going to use this colour for mine this weekend

I got mine done navy blue tonight! Already in bed tho so not turning the light back on to take a photo

A kind of chestnut colour and I let her loose with the leopard thing. I'm full of cold and too weak to refuse.

Changed to my autumn colour today. Gelish Exhale.

Ohhhh I think I’m going to have to make a stop at Boots! And I may yet paint my nails this autumn after all (stopped painting them on NYD 2018 because I just couldn’t be arsed with the upkeep and maintenance and keeping it perfect, and it’s been so liberating not having to think about it)!

Mine are OPI A Piazza Cake! I love them. It's on my toes so one photo is off of goggle and the other a quick tester!

I have to ask do you have your nails done by somebody or do you want them yourselves? If you do it your self how do you get it so it lasts more than 5 mins?

Mine are almost festive! Having them done again next week and thinking a pillar box red.

I've just done my own gels in this autumn orange colour. So glad to be getting all my darker colours out now

Oh my goodness, should I do it?? Should I dip my toe(nails) back into the varnish for autumn?

I’m really craving those deep, dark colours just now. And it does look so well put together...

What - mid-range at a stretch, cheap is better - brand(s) would you recommend? A lot of the colours I like when googling are OPI or Essie, I think. Are they fairly good? I used to buy Leighton Denny.

I’ve not had my nails done for a few months as I’ve beeb giving them a rest after two years solid of acrylics!

But usually in autumn I go for a dark burgundy or a burnt orange.

Also, I have quite thin and weak nails and the time I’ve spent not using nail varnish has really improved their condition.

Those of you with similar nails who use gel varnish and lights regularly, have you managed to do so without harming their condition? I can’t really afford to weaken my nails, but I would love to stick to four or five favourite colours for each season and reliably be able to wear them for longer each time.
