I really don’t like this dress. Too short, too beige and the double-breasted, belted silhouette does nothing for her. It adds bulk and although she is tiny she has a short, square torso. I really wish she would get a good stylist, she is so beautiful and when she gets it right she looks amazing.

Rhubarbisevil · 01/10/2019 10:03

I love the dress!

Sorry to disagree with you when you say "......Meghan's legs aren't her best feature anyway..."
I think she has amazing legs.
She may be still breastfeeding as her boobs look bigger and those belts make her look very busty.
Lucky you QueenoftheAndals, having similar colouring to Meghan.
I'm pale skinned and freckly.

JaimeBronde · 01/10/2019 10:04

Meghan looks lovely (beautiful hair & make up) but I wish she'd checked her buttons were done up properly (centre button left hand side) or the button could be coming loose so needs fixing.

queenofarles · 01/10/2019 10:07

Liked her navy dress yesterday, hate today’s beige trench dress, too short, very tight and looks as though it’s a top and not a dress,

paradyning · 01/10/2019 10:07

Mathilde in red and nude. I quite like it. It definitely suits her and it's her go to shape really.

I like that red and nude one^^.

QueenOfTheAndals · 01/10/2019 10:22

CPM looking very monochrome. I love the deep berry shade on her though, very autumnal.

Pale skin and freckles are very becoming! Celtic skin is prized and indeed many models have this combination.

NoTheresa · 01/10/2019 10:28

Oh and Meghan has fantastic legs. Not her best feature? Huh?

Disfordarkchocolate · 01/10/2019 10:32

I agree; Meghan has amazing legs and perfect ankles

DevonUkelele · 01/10/2019 10:36

CPM 😍😍. If I was being picky, I'd like a lower neckline on the blouse. The colour is amazing though.

FelicityFlutterby · 01/10/2019 10:41

Meghan does have amazing legs!

Missed that earlier one of Eugenie. Really like that.

beanaseireann · 01/10/2019 10:41

NoTheresa- how very kind you are Thanks

The thing is that Meghan hasn't completely lost the baby weight. I think this style, with the belt, does work for her normally because it gives the illusion of shape on her short-waisted body. However, because she's still carrying a tiny bit of extra weight (and I am in no way slagging her off, she looks amazing), the belt is counter productive - she's still trying to create a bit of a silhouette but it's just not possible with her current figure.

Eg that dress she wore for one of her first engagements with the queen just after the wedding? That had a little belt and it totally gave her the suggestion of an waist.

I am actually a similar body shape to her (but on a much larger scale!) - short waisted, longish slim legs and tendency to gain weight around my middle. But there are times when a belt really does give me some shape and definition and other times (usually when I've put on a little extra weight or am a bit bloated etc) where it's counter productive.

Spudlet · 01/10/2019 10:46

CPM looks fabulous! That colour is beautiful on her.

Spudlet · 01/10/2019 10:49

bling Agree re the belts. I wonder if a thin belt worn higher up to give a more empire line silhouette might work better at this point? Not on that style of dress, but perhaps a more floaty style.

The sort of dress that she wore to meet the Arch is much better for her at the moment, I think - those slightly stiff looking ones are harder to carry off, I think.

Horsemad · 01/10/2019 10:53

Not keen on Meghan's dress today. The colour isn't good on her and the belted waist doesn't help - makes her look boxy.
Whilst she has skinny legs, they're not particularly shapely. Not sure I'd say they were her best feature.

I noticed the car reg and wondered about it.

Love CPM's dress, gorgeous colour, very autumnal

StartupRepair · 01/10/2019 10:54

Meghan has looked as if she has slightly underestimated the temperature a couple of times. Her bare arms look chilly here while others are more covered up.

Myimaginarycathasfleas · 01/10/2019 10:54

Just me then. I try to avoid commenting on physical features, prefer sticking to the clothing and style as it's kinder, but I really don't like her legs, to me they are spindly and shapeless. I'd almost rather have mine, and that's saying something!

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 01/10/2019 11:02

Probably an Embassy car

AudacityOfHope · 01/10/2019 11:03

That dress looks like what Office Barbie would have worn in 1992.

Ninkaninus · 01/10/2019 11:13

That teal dress is just breathtaking and is definitely one of the most fantastic looks Kate has ever worn.

Love CMP in that Berry shade, it’s always been a very good colour for her.

Why is CPM so fond of Guy Fawkes' hat??
