Watching with interest. Particularly if they're vegan/synthetic and under £50.

I've just bought these - crazy comfortable, furry lining. Love then. On the pricey side but I'm hoping they'll last for a loooong time! From Next.

Laura Vita's, military style ankle boots are my go to. Leather is soft as butter

I have had Russel and Bromley Ones for 4 years and they are still great
They are half suede half elastic

Just bought these from Deichmann - lovely, comfy leather boots and only £34.99!. I think they look nicer in real life than they do on screen.

@BreakHerOffAKitKat I love your Barbour boots and have just ordered them. Hoping they'll be wide enough for my fat feet. Are they as nice in real life as on the pic?

scarlettDarling here's a pic of the real life boots. I've got wide feet and they are beyond comfortable. I've worn them everyday since I bought them on Tuesday!!

@Misery - I was the opposite, I thought Deichmann were a bit on the cheap and nasty side, but I can't recommend these boots enough. The price really doesn't reflect the quality. (Mind you I've only worn them once so far!)

@BreakHerOffAKitKat they're really nice, how do they fit around the ankle?

I'm finding it impossible to find boots that fit snugly and don't make my legs look like a piece of string in a bucket.

@WickedLemon they do gape a bit at the top - tried to take a pic but not sure how well it shows. I've got average sized calves but if you've got very slim legs they may be too wide for you

@BreakHerOffAKitKat Are the Costello boots true to size? I absolutely need them and the Barbour size guide is just a conversion chart! They are beautiful.
