They're fairly pricey but I think I'll go for them IF they're comfortable. Anyone had R & B boots before? What's the sizing like?

I'm not sure I like the big eyelet at the top. But £325?? 😮
I wouldn't pay that for a pair of boots.

Sooverthemill · 26/09/2019 12:51

Personally, I don't like the big eyelet at the top but R&B boots are amazing quality so if you think you will get the cost per wear out of them go for it!

NoTheresa · 26/09/2019 12:59

Ludicrously expensive and pretty ugly. I could afford that but no way on earth I would pay it.

PurpleDaisies · 26/09/2019 13:01

I don’t like them at all.

Hellywelly10 · 26/09/2019 13:16

There are lots of similar styles to this in all around the shops.

LeekMunchingSheepShagger · 26/09/2019 13:21

They're ok but I wouldn't pay that for them!

SophiaLarsen · 26/09/2019 13:23

I have R&B boots. I bought them 6 years ago and they're still going strong so value for money yes. They are true to size and good if you have narrow feet.

TalullahTheTigress · 26/09/2019 13:26

Not worth the money to me. Obviously, thay is just based on the pics. Maybe in person they're amazing.

I don't really like the length or the eyelet. Definitely not ugly, but no, I wouldn't spend that, even if I had money to burn.

Beerincomechampagnetastes · 26/09/2019 13:30

I love them 😍 they’d look great with jeans and dresses. But I like big boots- I just bought Grenson’s Nannette

DontCallMeShitley · 26/09/2019 13:30

I don't like them, they look very hard and uncomfortable and not quite right, also don't like the big eyelet thing.

I tend to buy Kurt Geiger boots though, and have a couple of pairs that are a similar style but more pleasing to the eye. They have lasted for a good few years.

AriadneO · 26/09/2019 13:38

I buy a lot of RB brogues, and they're good quality and very comfy once you wear them in. They're on the larger side, I find - I'm normally a 6 but wear 5.5 in RB.

One thing worth pointing out - they wear down VERY quickly for me, and I have to get them resoled every 6 months (£20 a pop). Could just be me though.

I think you can find nicer boots than these btw. They're not very RB...

BumbleBeee69 · 26/09/2019 13:42

Nope Flowers

TalullahTheTigress · 26/09/2019 13:48

I love Grensons Nanettes! But I don't like these at all. Go for the Grensons over these, every day of the week. Again, based only on the pics. Maybe I'd be bowled over in person.

AfterSchoolWorry · 26/09/2019 13:50

They look like something from shoe zone!

Not my thing at all.

TalullahTheTigress · 26/09/2019 13:54

Grin shoe zone! Yes, I think that eyelet does manage to make them look a bit...downmarket / shoe zoney tbh. Which wouldn't be such a problem except for the price.

T1gerEye · 26/09/2019 15:03

Lol at Shoe Zone. They don't look cheap in the flesh, so to speak.

I'm not entirely sold on them though, hence asking opinions. I've spotted a pair in Hush for £199 so may go for those instead. I do like the look of this style though

IHaveBrilloHair · 26/09/2019 15:06

£325, no way.
They're nice enough, but 50, maybe £70 absolute max, and I say this as someone who wants DM Wincox which are more.

IHaveBrilloHair · 26/09/2019 15:08

Ha, yes, Shoe Zoney is right.

nononever · 26/09/2019 15:39

I don't like them, they remind me of steel toe-capped boots.

soggypizza · 26/09/2019 15:45

I prefer Grenson Nanettes. I don't like the gold rings.

Sooverthemill · 26/09/2019 18:43

Of the hush boots this year I prefer the Buxton to the bibury but would need a big discount code!

sheshootssheimplores · 26/09/2019 18:46

They are eye wateringly expensive.

LittleSweet · 26/09/2019 18:48

I think Doc Martin's are much nicer looking and cheaper. I have some from the 90s that are still good to wear.

LittleSweet · 26/09/2019 18:50

Also, at that price you will need to employ someone to drop carpet squares on the floor for you to walk on!

Ninkaninus · 26/09/2019 18:51

Oh god no I definitely wouldn’t buy Hush boots for £200 over Russell & Bromley! R&B are great quality and well worth the money. I actually quite like the boots and I’d wear them if I hadn’t just come out of a black and studs phase. They wouldn’t work for me now but I think they’re really nice.

They won’t look ‘shoe zone’ in the flesh - you can tell good quality when you’re up close and personal.

R&B do come up very narrow IME.
