Snag tights. Worth it?

I'm short and tights never fit me properly. They fall down or rub and just get uncomfortable. Are Snag tights as good as they say?

I’m fat and tall so I’ve been hovering over the button too. Apparently they are Ment to be everything they say they are. So I’m marking my place

Frenchfancy · 07/09/2019 09:45

Yes they are.

HoneyandToast · 07/09/2019 09:49

I tried a pair. They fit me like a dream. I was so pleased I’d finally found tights that really did fit me properly. Right up until I laddered them the first time of wearing them Angry 50 denier! supposedly

TheClitterati · 07/09/2019 09:51

They are wonderful & quite revolutionary. Not had any ladder yet.

sanityisamyth · 07/09/2019 09:52

100%. I've got 2 pairs of tights and a pair of chub rub shorts. They're all amazing.

RNBrie · 07/09/2019 10:05

Yes! They are amazing. And they're only 6.99 a pair! I needed a size smaller than their website said but I am a really weird shape!

Bluewavescrashing · 07/09/2019 12:08

Ooh thanks! They come in lovely colours!

I found their opaque tights OK, and also the fishnets, but the thin (15/20 denier?) really poor quality. Snag tights was the right word for them. Sad

Aph413 · 07/09/2019 12:38

I've just been wearing a pair of their 30 denier sheers. I'm tall and fat and usually can only get my tights to go one of those ways but these were really good, the waist band is wide enough to stay put without rolling down too. And they stayed in place on my legs all day, didn't need to constantly pull them back up to prevent sagging around the crotch. They even managed to survive my cat sticking her claws in my leg last night without laddering.
Have yet to see how they hold up to the wash cycle but I've ordered several more pairs in the 80 denier and a pair of fishnets.
Bonus for me is they fit over my 29 week baby belly without having to buy a bigger size.
Provided they now last I'll be very pleased. I've spent a fortune on tights in the past

Northernlurker · 07/09/2019 23:14

Yes they are fab

BlackAmericanoNoSugar · 08/09/2019 00:16

Yes, I love them. If you are borderline between two sizes go smaller rather than bigger, especially if you are short, so that they don't wrinkle at the ankles.

FormerlyFrikadela01 · 08/09/2019 08:20

I have the 80 denier ones and they fit brilliantly. They don't fall down at the crotch at all. I've seized down from the recommended size because the first pair I got fit fab on the waist but were a tad too long (even though I'm tall).
They also come ina paper envelopes in tissue paper so no plastic going straight in the bin.

Iwanttoseethesea · 08/09/2019 08:51

They're brilliant. I'm nearly 6ft and have always had problems with tights but Snag fit beautifully. I've just ordered some more colours !

BestIsWest · 08/09/2019 08:52

Yes. Worth it.

BestIsWest · 08/09/2019 08:53

I also need to size down.

RiddleyW · 08/09/2019 08:53

I love them and now wear nothing else.

GrammarTeacher · 08/09/2019 08:55

Yes. No ladders yet and that is a miracle for me. I love them.

GlitchyWitch · 08/09/2019 08:56

They’re brilliant but yeah they come up a bit long

RiddleyW · 08/09/2019 08:57

Oh but yes I also had to size down or I get wrinkles at the ankles. I’m a complete short arse though.

drowningincustard · 08/09/2019 09:41

Before this thread I had just bought a couple of pairs. Haven't worn for full day or washed yet but I have tried on and while they feel comfy I agree with sizing down. Reading the comments I can see that mine might go wrinkly at ankle - fingers crossed...

BlackNoir · 08/09/2019 12:03

I'm 5'6", size 22 and an apple shape. The tights fit beautifully and stay up. Wash well too.

Definitely worth buying. Have yet to try any other colour than black.

Judystilldreamsofhorses · 08/09/2019 13:13

Balls, I ordered some last night after seeing Instagram ads, and didn’t size down. I wish I had seen this thread first!

clucky3 · 08/09/2019 13:19

Yes yes yes. They are brilliant. Agree with advice to size down.

toetickle · 08/09/2019 13:28

I'm interested in these - my problem with tights is that the breathable cotton gusset ends up in the wrong place - too high up - leaving my business area covered in nylon. Does anyone have any comment in this respect. Thanks

BikeRunSki · 08/09/2019 13:33

I’m tallish and flattish (5’8”, 14/16) and I got a couple of pairs last year. One pair ladders the first time I wore them. The fabric is rather sweaty. They did fit well though, but I wish they were natural fibres.
