What did we all think ? I love it personally it think it was very her 💕

It's a fugly dress. Like something a spinster (who didn't get married til she was 57,) would have worn in the 1880s.

I saw it all going on, by accident. She's bound to look ok in anything, really, but I am not a fan of that dress. The bridesmaids looked a bit like nuns, too. Agree that people marrying in the Minster need to dress appropriately, but that was taking it a bit too literally...

How on earth did she get to marry at York Minster?

His father has links to it in some way. Fergie looked like she was going to a funeral.

I have no idea who she is but think she's overdone the lip filler a bit. As to the dress, it does make a change to the usual strapless look with boobs overflowing. Gone a bit too far in the other direction.

Oh and Katy Perry looks totally preggers. It’s not just the outfit but she also has that pregnant face look IMO.

I read that she invited Ed Sheeran, even after he wrote that song about her cheating on him with one of 1 direction

I thought it was old-fashioned and ugly, considering it probably cost her a fortune.

Did she have a second dress for the reception? Why weren't any of you invited and posting from the toilets?!

Actually I just remembering wearing a sleeved dress that come up to my neck with a zip at the back & a tight bodice. I loved it but only wore it once as i couldn't lift my arms higher than my boobs! That's probably why hers is looser around the shoulder/arms

It looks like a coat to go over a wedding dress, too wintry and baggy. She's a very pretty girl though, still looks lovely.

I actually really hate slating a bride's dress but no...I actually don't think it's very her? And I think it is too big. She looks radiant but I think her hair would have looked lovely in a proper up do with such a casual dress. Beautiful girl though and she looks so happy my opinion doesn't matter a jot really!

It certainly wasn't muggy in York today. My DP refused to go out and buy me some crisps at lunchtime because it was absolutely pouring it down. Meanie. Still don't think the dress was a good idea, though.

Horrible dress, she's jumping on the bandwagon but it doesn't really suit her.

Don't. Allegedly. She basically said she didn't know why everybody thought that it was about her and they were never together. He said they were. And then a couple of years ago said he wouldn't say who the song was about but everybody already knew anyway.

I read about it in the Metro today btw, it's not my mastermind specialist subject or anything.

They really are not aristocrats-it was a political peerage. They are the local estate agents/auctioneers.

I don’t like the embroidery and think it looks like a very heavy dress.

I thought Eugenie looked great, Sienna’s dress was lovely, Katy Perry looked pregnant and Jimmy Carr’s wife looked frumpy.

I felt very sorry for what the adult bridesmaids had to wear at that wedding. The young bridesmaids looked sweet (and vaguely 1950s) but it wasn't a flattering length or cut on anyone over 12

Personally, I think it's really ugly. Maybe her mum's or gran's and she's wearing it for tradition? She looks happy enough though, and it doesn't impact me at all in any way, so why not!! Congratulations to her!
