I always love reading these type of threads for enabling inspiration.

I bought three basic t shirts from H&M recently - red and white stripe, mustard and grey. I love them ALL. They have slightly rounded hems which are more flattering on my shape (size 12 apple). And they were only a few quid each. I've been wearing them with denim shorts.

I'm also loving the No 7 Hydraluminous foundation which I tried and bought after seeing it mentioned on here.

I'm in the market for a longline, light grey cardigan for autumn if anyone has bought one recently?

Vintage 70’s high waisted flares in a petrol blue, fabric is a bit heavy so I’m waiting for the weather to change. Going to wear with black ankle boots and a cream dagger collar zipped blouse

Hush knitwear in the sale. Never had so many compliments and only one return (I ordered quite a few! )

A black and white short sleeve zebra shirt from H&M. Looks smart for work and is actually cool.

Got some olive green wide leg culottes that have a wide belt, they look amazing and seem to match lots of stuff.

A pencil skirt that is very lightweight, grey, plaid lined, but very fine plaid so it just looks grey from a distance. Worn it loads.

I bought a black silk shirt in the M&S sale, which dp seems very taken with!

Been after a shirt like that for a while. Bought a white silk shirt that has black splodges on it that looks good. I always get my shirts sewn up along the buttons as they do tend to ping open otherwise!

I wore the silk shirt again last night, dressed down with culottes and trainers. I'm really pleased with it and really hope it doesn't shrink, like the last silk item I bought from M&S did!

Yes it’s beautiful! I’ve had to resist getting a yellow bag to go with it - have had my eye on a mulberry in mustard for this whole current season but another one won over it, so now I’ve bumped that onto my wish list for the January sales. Don’t think I’ll actually be able to afford it so soon, mind, but it’s nice to dream.

I swear having a kid changed the way scents sit on my skin; all my old favourites don’t smell right or even good on me anymore! It’s been 5 years of trying and failing to find a perfume I really love on myself (I don’t have £££ for handbags & am crap at makeup so scent is my thing). I wanted to love Santal 33, but found Tom Ford’s Santal Blush smells better on me, so I thought I’d try a different one from Le Labo. Wore a little spritz out today and got 2 compliments off strangers, thought I smelt pretty nice but that’s cheered me up no end.

@managedmis where did you get your olive culottes from, I like the sound of them!

@Ninkaninus I'm glad you love your trench too, mustard is definitely the right bag colour, or tan I guess.

A Kemi Telford skirt which is swishy and fabulous and makes me walk with my back straight.
