What do you think of these biker boots? They are from M&S by the way.

I really like them but am not too sure about the white stitching. They would look good with loads of things, very versatile.

CloudsCanLookLikeSheep · 16/08/2019 13:42

They look like they are trying to copy Fly.
You'd be better off paying a little more for genuine Fly if you can afford it.

Alsohuman · 16/08/2019 13:44

Nice. They look better in black.

Saucery · 16/08/2019 13:44

They’re ok but they won’t stand up to much walking (or biking!). The beauty of the more expensive boots is that they grow with you and if you take care of them they will last ages. Those will scufff and fall apart quickly.

sheshootssheimplores · 16/08/2019 13:46

I dont like them. They look too shiny and faux.

HappyHammy · 16/08/2019 13:47

I like them but they don't look very sturdy

cocomelon23 · 16/08/2019 13:48

They look plasticky and shiny.

ladyandthechocolate · 16/08/2019 13:54

Thanks folks. I’m on the fence with them. I love the colour but they are quite shiny at present although I expect they would wear in a bit. They aren’t wildly comfortable either.
They seem fairly well made though although the leather is quite stiff. I can’t find any others I like though- unfortunately Fly don’t have any that are quite right.

The leather will soften with wear.

HappyHammy · 16/08/2019 13:58

I have bought these fluffy ones

Ellapaella · 16/08/2019 14:12

I would go for some with a rounder toe and not such obvious stitching. What's your budget as there are a lot of this type of boot around?

Ellapaella · 16/08/2019 14:14

These are lovely https://www.hush-uk.com/roslin-boots-black-gold.htm?trackterm=roslin

BillyAndTheSillies · 16/08/2019 14:14

I nearly bought these in black today, really liked them.
Sticking with M&S after my Russell & Bromley Chelsea boots fell apart after 6 months.

Ellapaella · 16/08/2019 14:14

@HappyHammy I love those!

Alsohuman · 16/08/2019 14:15

@Ellapaella, the Hush boots are also nearly three times the price!

SavoyCabbage · 16/08/2019 14:20

The Hush ones are monstrous.

Ellapaella · 16/08/2019 14:21

Yes, I haven't suggested she buy them, it's why I asked what her budget was. There are loads of this style of boot around. OFfice and ASOS will almost certainly have some in soon, they were everywhere last winter.

Letthemysterybe · 16/08/2019 14:22

Are they true to size HappyHammy ?

Ellapaella · 16/08/2019 14:22

Any suggestions then @SavoyCabbage?

I bought a 3 which fit me perfectly but they might feel a bit tighter in the winter when I wear woolly socks, at the moment with thin cotton sock they are the right fit.

Bluntness100 · 16/08/2019 14:26

I don't like those at all, they are so shiney. If you're going to wear biker boots do it properly not politely. The super dry ones are fab. I don't like the hush ones either, too much gold hardware.

HappyHammy · 16/08/2019 14:26

Super dry also have some nice coats and jackets in the sale if you're getting ready for winter

sheshootssheimplores · 16/08/2019 14:29

I’ve just bought some really nice Esprit ones from eBay. They’re lovely.
