Leggings - can you look expensive in them?

I love leggings and unless see through I don't tend to personally think everyone looks cheap in them however you will never see royalty in them unless working out/walking etc. I tend to think there is a snobbery towards them but is that a misconception on my part?

FYI I am wearing leggings today for a day at an upmarket small city!

There are quite a lot of the Joseph leggings on eBay. I was curious!

How does one look "expensive" in general? What does this even mean? Wear what you like/feel comfortable/confident in.

I love leggings with a thigh high boot which I think can be made to look expensive. All depends on the top half.

Much more comfortable than jeans and gives a smoother line.

Spanx do leggings too - if you're looking to throw money at them. Cheaper than the Joseph ones!

I tried on the moto ones and sadly, they just made me look like me, despite costing 100 quid.

They must be unfaded, unseethrough, worm with the tight pants and paired with the right accessories. Never Uggs ankle boots.

My Saturday outfit in winter is large knit/all saints sweater, leggings, over the knee boots. At home white shirt, leggings, ballerinas.

I love the printed ones from M&S (think dark grey houndstooth or check NOT animal print) & wear them with oversized jumpers. So comfy & I think I look nice. I don’t think I look expensive though 🤔
