Should I keep these shoes?

Picture 1: example of 2 pairs of Clark's shoes. One pair (the beige shade) I am currently trying to rescue as they are grubby. The other pair are in good condition.
Pros: comfortable, soft, reasonable height heel, good for work as practical and close toed.
Cons: are they ugly as fuck?

Pic 2- impulse buy from eBay. Never worn from NEXT.

Pros- not sure?
Cons- are they ugly as fuck?

Do I keep these? I have no other sandals for work so that is a consideration. May be more to come as I'm sorting through my wardrobe!

Have you tried Aldo? They do nice comfy fashionable shoes.

As others have said, charity, not actual bin, surely?

Oh, and try sticking the beige ones through the washing machine. You've not much to lose.

Although the contrast between the soles and the black uppers looks quite severe, I can imagine the beige ones are pretty nondescript. Although it would be interesting to know what the black ones actually look like as part of an outfit - that's not a flattering photo you've taken and if you've difficult feet then I wouldn't chuck good quality Clark's in favour of some cheap crap from ASOS just because of what a few people have told you here.

The Next ones do look like slippers though. They're teddy bear colour Grin

Yes don't worry people, I charity shop anything i think is acceptable! I'm not sure shoes are something many people would want though. Well, my sandals get pretty disgusting. I tried soaping the inside and the black minging marks just will not shift!

Yeah sadly my fee are just crap to be honest. They are pretty wide, I have a mutant toe (3rd toe in is longer than the rest) meaning many shoes rub it, I'm on my feet all day.

I'd love to wear the beautiful shoes I see in the shops but sadly I just can't!

I really really like the no.1 sandals. Hate the second pair though 🥴

OhTheShoes · 02/08/2019 19:55

Ps haven't got rid of the Clarke's ones Wink I won't unless I find a decent alternative! I suspect anything I order from fashion shops won't fit but I should probably give it a go.

Clarks always seem to do weird things with the soles of their shoes. Sorry, OP, I vote they are fugly. You are a young lass with decent ankles. Adorn ‘em with something nicer Grin
