Never sure if they work on me or not. So, should I today?

I think yes, although I always find it tricky to get it right with a top with splits on the side too.

MaybeDoctor · 29/07/2019 11:34

It looks ok - yes.

But I am more worried about the line of bricks you have on the floor. Isn't it a trip hazard?

Sooverthemill · 29/07/2019 11:34

Both look nice. I pretty much always French tuck but only recently found out what it was called!

bebeboeuf · 29/07/2019 11:35

French tuck works there as it’s quite a boxy cut,

I haven’t managed to get the French tuck to work on my as it just emphasises my csection tum

Drogosnextwife · 29/07/2019 11:35

I like it tucked. I can never get away with it, I'm to chunky and it just makes me look heavier

Kittekats · 29/07/2019 11:38

I thought this was going to be about hair Grin
Never heard of a French tuck but you look great with it, if I had your stomach I’d definitely French tuck!

WingBingo · 29/07/2019 11:38

@MaybeDoctor it’s an exposed brick wall painted white!

Thank you all. Is boxy not a good look then?

Or it could be the hearth behind me that you can see.

HappyNOTdriving · 29/07/2019 11:49

either way looks fine as you can carry off both looks.

More importantly though!

Did you know there is someone trying to steal your lamp?
They are being reflected in the tv.

SunStruck · 29/07/2019 11:52

Definitely French tuck! Looks more pulled together. I love it and love the outfit, very preppy 😃

justilou1 · 29/07/2019 11:56

Absolutely!

WingBingo · 29/07/2019 12:08

Thank you @SunStruck. I’m going to wear my new, very white converse with the outfit.

Don’t worry happy, it’s the tv, DS’ are watching Spirited Away.

I always french tuck. Just looks better imo.

happytobemrsg · 29/07/2019 16:12

Definitely french tuck. You look great 👍🏻

PuppyMonkey · 29/07/2019 16:17

I have no idea what anyone on this thread is on about, but the second picture without the tuck looks much better to me. The first pic looks like a mistake.Confused

I am very old.Grin

Whoops75 · 29/07/2019 16:19

Love a French tuck

Plump82 · 29/07/2019 19:41

I like a French tuck but think it would look better if the top didnt have splits.

WingBingo · 29/07/2019 20:21

Thank you everyone!

Went out for lunch with DH sporting the tuck. He asked why my shirt was half tucked in.

OpenYourEyes · 29/07/2019 20:24

I think the bricks you can see are the tassels on the rug.

Outfit looks nice tucked in.

gubbsywubbsy · 29/07/2019 20:29

Yes.. much more cool!!

madeyemoodysmum · 29/07/2019 20:33

I can’t see a difference. What is a bloody French Tuck !!!!

WingBingo · 29/07/2019 20:40

It’s your shirt kind of half tucked in like this. Kind of nonchalant

Yes I did it today for the first time and it looked ok.

Douberry · 29/07/2019 20:56

I think either works for your figure OP. French tuck away!

However the later example you posted looks like a ran-out-of-the-toilet-too-quick jobbie Grin

PuppyMonkey · 30/07/2019 11:47
Confused

You do all know the rest of us are thinking you’ve done it by accident? Like inadvertently tucking your skirt into your knickers?Grin
