Just that really
I feel I’m to old ,it’s way past my back bra strap..
But what would I have instead?

Jerry Hall looks amazing. Ok her hair is lightly shorter now but it looks great

I am over 60 with long, very thick, grey hair. I usually wear it up. I used to have a pixie cut in my 50s, I hate that look (on me) now. But seriously, who are you worrying about when you discuss your looks? I am happy with my appearance for myself, not for my DH, not for other women or other men. The most empowering feeling in the world is to comfortable in your own skin & not care what anyone else thinks about you. Smile.

Gosh...I hope it can look good at 50
I’m nearing 70 and it’s bra strap length
Still quite a lot of brown , with blonde highlights and a bit of grey
I’m not cutting it anytime soon.

Lots of things to consider OP
Very short hair (pixie) will be easy to manage in terms of washing but may need more styling and definitely more frequent trips to hairdresser.
You could start by simply getting a good few inches off and then see how you feel.

Agree with the poster above who suggested having a few inches off, maybe to just below shoulder length. That will give it more bounce. Then experiment with styling, maybe ask your hairdresser for some ideas.

Forgot to say, I am your age and my hair is bra strap length and I love it and get lots of compliments, so I may be biased against hair chopping!

I'm 50. I had an asymmetric bob, chin length a few years ago. I looked fugly, years older and it was much harder to dry and style. I'm staying long for the foreseeable future. Just dye the grey roots myself every month. Deffo feel I look better.

I'm 48. I love my long hair and will always have it. I went short once years ago and got well fed up with the constant trimming/styling. I do go for fringes on and off, I'm blonde so go for different shades. Had balyage last yr. There's loads of ways of doing subtle ish changes.
