Are white jeans still in fashion?

I bought a nice pair from Zara and I love them.
Was planning on wearing them tomorrow but my friend has just informed me nobody wears white jeans anymore.
Should I return?
I tried them on with a navy top and loved the outfit.

You need specific weather for white jeans i find. Guaranteed to be dry but not too hot!

I think they're back in, especially if Zara are selling them. Think they've been in the Liz Hurley fashion wilderness for a suitably long period of time.

I think they look okay in summer but they’re not trendy per se, the trendy pair would be a straight leg fit, ankle grazer length with a slightly off-white shade. I don’t think white skinny jeans are ‘in’, but at the same time they’re summery so won’t look awful

To me white jeans = Liz Hurley.

But if you love them and can't wait to wear them why would you be thinking of returning them just because someone told you they were unfashionable? Loving an item should be the number 1 reason for wearing it!

Just to add- your thread inspired me to wear mine this evening for an early dinner with friends and two of them said they were now going to buy some white jeans! Ha! Wear them! 😄

I love my skinny bright white Levi’s - I also wear them with a slight turn up and love them with a navy camisole top and navy strappy wedges. It’s a go to summer (has to hot!) evening outfit. I’m rubbish at wearing them in the daytime though as I always get stains on them .

I’m early 40’s so not fussed if I’m trendy or not (I don’t think I ever was ) - I’d wear them whether they were in fashion or not lol!

I never stopped wearing them. Super skinny with rips all down to the knee.

Mine are wide leg, ankle length and, I like to think, kind of Coco Chanel on the Riviera. I mostly wear them on holiday and they spend the next 12 months lost in the laundry bag

I have no idea what's in fashion but I've seen plenty of people wear white jeans. I think if you have a cool/youthful vibe (regardless of whether you're 20 or 70) you can pull off pretty much anything.
