Out for daytime drinks with friends tomorrow. It's scorching here just now, but I'm pasty and unorganised, as usual.

So shall be wearing bog standard - jeans and top.

Is this outfit okay? Does the tan bag go, considering I'm wearing black jeans and sandals? My lighter sandals have just fallen apart in my hand, I can't be arsed to wear my wedges, and a black bag seems too much black!

Thanks

Honestly, I think it would be nicer with blue jeans, Much more summery.

Namechangeforthiscancershit · 13/07/2019 19:53

I think you might boil in black!

SallyWD · 13/07/2019 19:54

Looks lovely to me

Qwerty09876 · 13/07/2019 19:55

Blue jeans would be better and cooler but does go and you look lovely too

disdressed · 13/07/2019 20:09

All my blue jeans have gone to shit for one reason or another lately and I have a thing against wearing blue denim with black shoes Blush

Looks nice. Sit in the shade!

DurhamDurham · 13/07/2019 20:12

I love your clothes, they look great but I'm not so keen on your footwear, wedges would finish off the outfit. Having said that if they're comfy that's reason enough to choose themGrin

onemorecakeplease · 13/07/2019 20:16

I like it - it's something I would wear too

BoredToday · 13/07/2019 20:20

Jeans look awful in the summer , regardless of colour.
Your outfit does not flow and is forgettable.
Wear a white skirt or shorts with it.
However, it's not an outfit that would get compliments, the fact you're on here asking about it suggests that's the look you're after?

Sweetpearose · 13/07/2019 20:22

I'm not a fan of your shoes either. Wedges or ballerina shoes maybe?

bellalou1234 · 13/07/2019 20:24

I think it looks lovely. Where is top from?

championquartz · 13/07/2019 20:26

I don’t mind the sandals. The black isn’t great tbh. And not with that bag. Have you a white skirt/white or denim shorts?

disdressed · 13/07/2019 20:29

Are these shoes better? Just tried my wedges and they are a no go, too high and uncomfortable.

However, it is a casual day out, the others are all wearing flats or trainers.

Not at all bothered about my outfit being memorable.

Yes perfect! I like the top :) Black bag might look better but tbh I wouldn't look at the tan bag and go oh that doesn't match!

DurhamDurham · 13/07/2019 20:35

disdressed those sandals look great! You look fab, have a lovely day out Wine

disdressed · 13/07/2019 20:36

Denim shorts - feel they're both too short and I'm too pasty

SandunesAndRainclouds · 13/07/2019 20:37

Second pair of shoes look much better, they dress it up a bit.

small2018 · 13/07/2019 20:38

You look great in the shorts!!

LifeInAHamsterWheel · 13/07/2019 20:41

Oh my god seriously wear the shorts! Any of them! If I had legs like yours I'd absolutely wear shorts. That outfit is perfect now OP, have a lovely time Smile Wine

LorelaiRoryEmily · 13/07/2019 20:43

You look fab in the shorts

HappyDinosaur · 13/07/2019 20:43

That top looks fab with the shorts, enjoy your evening.

HappyDinosaur · 13/07/2019 20:44

*day, sorry got carried away!

DogHasEatenTheSqueaker · 13/07/2019 20:44

100% wear the shorts! You look fab! Am fat knee-d and jealous!

disdressed · 13/07/2019 20:53

I’m really not sure about the shorts, I’m 37 and have always been a bit self conscious of getting my legs out since about 25! Feel a bit past it to be honest!

Last option - any thoughts?

The dress is lovely bit so was the other outfits. But honestly wear what you are comfortable in. You will never get everyone to agree.
