I am early fifties usually no make up with occasional use of a chubby stick on my lips and blusher on a pale day or if I have time.
I have freckles, wear glasses and always seem to have bags under my eyes please recommend me a light feeling not cakey tinted moisturiser for everyday?

I personally love the nars tinted moisturizer, I put it on with a brush so it’s super light coverage then top up any trouble areas (under eyes and around my nose) with concealer.

ladyratterley · 10/07/2019 18:52

Laura Mercier is excellent. Or No7 tinted moisturiser is pretty good and a lot more purse friendly.

SorrelForbes · 10/07/2019 18:54

I use this CC cream and it's amazing. It says full coverage but it really isn't at all!

YaWeeGobshite · 10/07/2019 19:02

I’ve just bought a Nivea one to try and I’m impressed. Only £3.99 too! (From Superdrug)

Chartreuser · 10/07/2019 19:05

I have tried the Nivea one but it's much heavier than a normal tinted moisturiser. Plus was too pink toned for me.

I also love the Nars one, really wakens my skin up. I've tried the Laura Mercier one, addition glowy but far less coverage. Clarins also v sheer too.

theseriousmoonlight · 10/07/2019 19:06

I've just bought Charlotte Tilbury unisex healthy glow and love it. It adapts to your shade so you don't have to worry about being too orange or pale and a little goes a very long way. Not a huge amount of coverage, just a healthy glow.

LuxuryWoman2018 · 10/07/2019 19:16

Another Nivea fan, so good, so cheap!

digdug · 10/07/2019 19:24

Laura Mercier.

thedevilinablackdress · 10/07/2019 19:52

L'Oréal Age Perfect. Very light, bit of colour/glow.

yikesanotherbooboo · 10/07/2019 19:55

I haven't found the holy grail but prefer By Terry to Nars or Bobbi Brown; runner up is Laura Mercier.

Beauty Pie

Not what you asked for but i ues YSL le teinte foundation and it's very very light.
On me, it does a much better job of evening my skin tone and minimising under eye circles without looking like I'm wearing makeup than tinted moisturisers did on me. More expensive, but I only have to buy 2-3 times a year.

ChristinaMarlowe · 10/07/2019 20:12

I'm going against the grain here but honestly I've tried a few and prefer my usual Dior foundation (also works fine with maxfactor so guessing works with any) but mixed with Nivea lotion on the back of my hand with a kabuki (sp?!) brush. Lasts all day and doesn't look caked or greasy. You can have it as tinted as you like with more coverage or barely there . Bit of pore refining primer first (love the max factor one but best ever is Avon magix skin perfector, although they seem to have changed the formula now 😠😭 That stuff was amazing and really cheap for the result it gave.

Daddylonglegs1965 · 10/07/2019 20:15

Thanks all so far I dislike the weight of how foundation feels on my skin all day which is why I thought maybe a tinted moisturiser.

If you want something very light, the DD tinted moisturiser from Autograph (M&S) is very good and comes in a few different shades and has a bit of SPF thrown in as well. I personally found the Nivea far too heavy.

Thedarklady · 10/07/2019 20:23

Bare Minerals Complexion rescue - the original one, Tinted hydrating gel cream.

I thought the Laura Mercier one was pants and for the same price you could buy a high end foundation!

Gingertam · 10/07/2019 20:24

Another one for Laura Mercier. I've tried loads but always go back to that one. Expensive but worth it.

soarin · 10/07/2019 20:25

If you can find a clinic selling Alumier, the moisture matte is flippin amazing.

WellTidy · 10/07/2019 20:29

The Laura mercier one is fab. It seems more expensive than some other brands, but you are getting 50ml of product, whereas nearly all of the other ones are 30ml.

Fstar · 10/07/2019 21:30

Nars tinted foundation is light, they also do a weightless foundation this nice

Fstar · 10/07/2019 21:31

Sorry i mean tinted moisturiser

princessbear80 · 10/07/2019 22:14

The Origins spf 40 one is great. It smells lovely, changes to match your skin tone, is moisturising, lasts well, and you can’t feel it in your skin.

smileannie · 11/07/2019 02:24

New to Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer although I have the illuminating one and absolutely love it

A cheaper alternative is Nivea Tinted Everyday Moisturizer which I mix with a small blob of Primark Strobe cream.

violetbunny · 11/07/2019 06:27

If you feel like you look tired, would you consider s one other products as well? Some judiciously applied concealer and highlighter can also work wonders in addition to a tinted moisturiser.

Have you thought of booking in an appointment at a Beauty counter?

MrsElizabethShelby · 11/07/2019 06:33

This one www.avon.uk.com/product/5327/avon-true-nutra-effects-radiance-tinted-moisturiser-spf20

Brightens, tints, moisturises and SPF protected in one.

I also hate the feel of makeup on my face OP and I love this! Do remember to cleanse your face in the evening though Smile
