Thinking for work. In the grey colour (which is like a minky grey). Or are they too frumpy? They are so comfortable Smile

I like them in the leopard print option Grin

Here from the ‘swears by’ email, can’t understand how mumsnet has them there as I came to see opinions about them (I quite like them), and 98% on the thread hate them HmmConfused

Idontlikeshopping · 22/07/2019 07:45

This thread has made me laugh.

I both got something like that a few years ago from Skechers. I thought that they were great, even got a compliment from a girl in a shop (I now think she was taking the piss). I wore them a few times, then I noticed that nearly all of the elderly ladies my grandmothers friends were wearing them. So now I can't bring myself to wear them.

luckylavender · 22/07/2019 08:32

I think they're fine. Why are people so rude?

Miniloso · 22/07/2019 08:37

If you are 65 or older and not into fashion then go for it.

MILHouse · 22/07/2019 08:45

I’ve got these in leopard print 😳

In my defence, I cannot wear any shoes at all that don’t give me hideous heel blisters. Even trainers are a nightmare. Dune occasionally have a loafer type with a REALLY soft back, which these have.

TruffleShuffles · 22/07/2019 09:10

There is nothing wrong with them? The shoes are fine OP, they are not overly stylish but if you want a bit of comfort along with an inoffensive shoe they are absolutely fine. The other shoes that pp have linked to as supposedly more stylish options are truly shocking though Confused

Notquiteagandt · 25/07/2019 14:21

I think they are inoffensive. A comfy pair if day to day shoes. I wouldnt pay them attention nor notice them as being "hideous" the others pp have linked on the other hand....are terrible

Grey slip ons always scream sex offender at me. But I don’t mind them in the other colours

Tableclothing · 25/07/2019 15:21

No.

They’re from dune and they don’t do frumpy Every brand/designer/shop can make mistakes, and this is one example.

Paddy1234 · 25/07/2019 15:34

Sorry I think they all hideous

mumsiedarlingrevolta · 25/07/2019 15:39

I think that they are absolutely horrible but admire your decision to keep them despite them getting slated Grin

Percypigparade · 25/07/2019 16:16

3dogs2cats that's a disgusting thing to say.
Wouldn't it be handy if women paid attention to shoes; then we could recognise sex offenders by them. Piss off.
