Which cleansing balm do you use?

I want to purchase a cleansing balm so I can stop using wipes. I’ve looked at the body shops & no7 cleansing balm. Are either of these any good? Or are there any others that you recommend?

The body shop camomile cleansing balm is amazing. I found it through a recommendation on MN and have never looked back!

I use the Clinique one, it's basic but does the job. I loved the Emma hardy one, it felt like a spa treatment but it's really expensive. Superdrug have one in a squeezy tube in their own range that is about £3, does the job and if you've never tried a cleansing balm it's a pretty good starting point to see if you 'get on' with them :)

Body Shop chamomile cleansing balm is just the best. I panic and bulk buy if I’m running low as it’s the one thing I can’t ever let myself run out of.

MustardMonster · 07/07/2019 19:19

Another vote for Body Shop chamomile cleansing balm. I've re-bought it 4 times which is unheard of for me!

Butterflycookie · 07/07/2019 19:20

Lyonsleaf beauty balm. It smells really good!

WouldHAVEcouldHAVEshouldHAVE · 07/07/2019 19:23

I didn’t really like the BS one but then I’d used it after running out of Emma Hardie and it will never match up to that.
I’m currently using Pai Gentle Cleanser which is lovely.

Frazzlesandacoke · 07/07/2019 19:24

Yet another vote for The Body Shop one, but this one from Marks & Spenser is another favourite and smells really lovely.

I use Liz Earle cleanse and polish but with a flannel instead of the Muslin cloth. And then follow with neals hard rose facial oil. Lovely

Wildorchidz · 07/07/2019 19:26

Balance Me
Eve Lom
Elemis

I rotate these

UpToonGirl · 07/07/2019 19:27

I've tried the Emma Hardie one and whilst it was nice I didn't feel it was worth the price tag. The body shop one is almost as nice but cheaper (although the tin is smaller).

I recently tried Clean It Zero Balm which I got on Amazon - mainly because I spend too much money whenever I go to the Bodyshop! It is really good - no scent/fragrance.

KTD27 · 07/07/2019 19:28

Emma hardy. It’s LOVELY and my skin feels fab

MrsArcher23 · 07/07/2019 19:29

Elemis is my absolute favourite but I’m going to try the Body Shop one after all the recommendations here. Don’t like the smell of the EH one.

Greyhound22 · 07/07/2019 19:29

I love the Elemis one.

It's so expensive though I'm thinking of trying the BS one.

TheSweatyPregnancy · 07/07/2019 19:30

I use the Elemis cleansing balm.

There are cheaper options which will do the job okay but I’ve never found anything leaving my skin feeling as ‘squeaky clean’ as the Elemis one!

I just ask for a tub for birthday and Christmas every year and means I only have to buy one myself in between which isn’t too bad I suppose!

It smells like a spa day which is always nice!

Happy scrubbing Grin

supercatlady · 07/07/2019 19:30

I love Emma Hardie - I find the Moringa really uplifting - it lasts ages

Offredismysister · 07/07/2019 19:31

Elemis is my favourite, then Emma Hardie.
But I’m using ultrabland from lush atm. It’s brilliant & so much cheaper. You can use it to get eye make up off too, it’s so gentle. They'll let you have a little pot to try aswell.

CookieDoughKid · 07/07/2019 19:32

Waitrose own brand for a fiver and it comes with a linen cloth is amazing for dry skin or combi skin.

Tinks15 · 07/07/2019 19:33

Thanks everyone, looks like BS one is popular!

So after you use the balm do you use anything else or just tone? As with me I use a wipe to remove all my make up then i wash my face with a cleanser then tone.

Emma hardie usually, expensive but lasts ages. But I've just got the elemis rose one and think I prefer it. They're the only 2 that didn't make my eyes sting

LesLavandes · 07/07/2019 19:35

Eve Lom

lilpumpsmum · 07/07/2019 19:35

I use Eve Lom but I also have a small Elemis one that I've been meaning to try.

MikeUniformMike · 07/07/2019 19:36

I've only tried the Balance Me one and I love it. I didn't expect to get on with it. I just massage it on my skin and rinse off thoroughly.

giggleshizz · 07/07/2019 19:36

Love Emma Hardie moringa one but agree with PP. Very expensive but worth the money when I can afford it

WouldHAVEcouldHAVEshouldHAVE · 07/07/2019 19:39

After the balm I spray Avene Thermal Water or the LRP equivalent.

Duchessofealing · 07/07/2019 19:40

The Body Shop one is really overpoweringly fragranced. The Clinique TTDO has no fragrance at all and is lovely (although I like some fragrance). I’m currently on the drunk elephant one which does the job but smells funny (a bit like oil). Agree the Emma Hardie is divine.
