Botox not working?

I had Botox Tuesday evening on my frown lines. I was actually delighted as on day two I definitely noticed a softening. I was so happy on what I saw already. I could still frown but definitely an improvement.
The thing is I have woken up today ( after a very bad nights sleep) and noticed they look almost back to usual again. I can’t find any info online about it. I went to a very reputable dr and they defo used Botox. She told me it would take two weeks to take full effect and I have a follow up

I’m just hugely disappointed this morning as I was definitely seeing improvement. It’s almost like it had worn off which seems impossible already. I know it doesn’t work on some plp but I’m certain it had started working. It’s seems really unusual for Botox to start showing after 3 days and then day 5 look reversed. It’s still harder to frown. Maybe I have tried frowning too much and undone it, yesterday I was outside in bright light....
any ideas or experiences?

Borrow won't remove the creases/wrinkles though, just stop the muscles moving and making them worse. My first Botox I was disappointed I fully expected a totally smooth, glass like, forehead and it just didn't happen. I needed a top up before I really noticed a difference in movement and even then I could still see the creases.
I personally found that overhauling my skincare alongside the Botox treatment has given me the look I'm after. Lots of "resurfacing" acids and retinol along side a lot of hydrating products.

I've just had mine redone on Saturday and it's only just starting to take effect, much happier this time round partly because of my more realistic expectations and improved skin texture/appearance.

Could you possibly update us on how it went, please? I had it for the first time last week, I'm now on day 6 and still see or feel any difference at all.

Day 10. Botox still isn't working for me. Can still frown 🙁

I must be immune to botox. It worked well the first time but nothing since. I've even tried a few different Drs but it hasn't worked. I'm not wasting any more money on it.

It's the 2 week mark for me now. Nothing. It's not worked. I have an appointment in 5 days so I'll have to have a top up I suppose and see if that works.

So 26 days since 1st Botox and 6 days since top up. Still nothing happening. I feel like I just threw money away 😭 Anyone else had it where it just didn't work?

If it hasn't worked in 26 days then go back and ask her to sort it (eg put more in).

It does take 2 weeks but 26 days you should be seeing full benefit by now so doesn't sound right

It's been nearly 3 weeks since my top up. Still not working. It's took some pestering but finally got the doctor to agree to see me again with a view of putting more in. Clearly even with the top up its still not enough. I haven't actually been told how much I've been given but I'm going to ask so at my next appointment so that I know. If a 2nd top up still doesn't work though, I guess I'll have to presume that it's just not for me.

So, final update from me. I had initial dosage, followed by 2 week top up. They then gave me a further top up 4 days ago as it hadn't worked. It still has not worked, therefore, I must assume that I am resistant to it and won't be going back again.
