What's the fascination with the godparents? It's already been mentioned that the godparents themselves did not want to be named.

Anyway, Uncle Charles Spencer is giving a pre-scheduled talk in Winchester to promote his new book about King Charles I.

Kate looks tense to me. Williams face is tripping him. Harry’s clothes look a bit of a mess. MM looks lovely as does her mother.
But it all has a bit of a back door feel about it. (Literally). It doesn’t exude joy to me at all. So many people left off the guest list. Strange.

Bizarre & a bit boring now. No one gives a shit who they are but H & M have made it into an issue ... announcements of non announcements is definition of self importance (from a Royal & an actress ... never!).

I wonder if the media have to access the instagram account to get pictures of anything the Sussex family do. Bet William and Catherine wish they could do the same. Those boys just dislike the media immensely and I cannot say I blame them.

Kate’s Stella McCartney dress is a rewear, last worn at the Queen’s Christmas lunch last year.

I love Kate's whole look! From head to toe MM also looks lovely and appropriate for the occasion both colour and style of dress wise, agree with pp that hers looks a fuller skirt than usual - perfect for twirls

Williams expression will be yet more ammo for the press! I don't think there's any malice between the brothers, I just think William views Harry as his 'silly' younger brother (as elder siblings often do) this is apparent in some videos I've seen of interviews with them both. Also seen some people slate H&M for including another black & white shot but again I think that they just really like that style of photography seen as they had that lovely b&w shot of them both facing the fireworks at their wedding reception.

I find it a bit odd when some get wound up public figures that haven't committed any crimes or said anything unpleasant. This a clothes thread and the style and beauty board. People are more than welcome to do an anti-monarchy or M&H are problamatic/annoying/whatever thread elsewhere instead.

I personally think that life's too short to read and fume about people you dislike, especially ones you don't know. That's just my opinion though.

No it isn't. It's because the chapel Archie was christened in is a "Royal Peculair", which means it isn't subject to requirements of normal parish churches. ALL royal baptisms that have taken place at Windsor fall under this but this is the only time the royals haven't released the name of the godparents.

I think all the ladies look gorgeous, Doria in particular. I love the colour scheme, I think Kate's dress would've photographed better if she was standing up.

The photo feels a bit 'wooden' and tense, not many natural smiles, surprised that this was the best photo, most of them look very awkward.

I would've loved to see the younger cousins included, so many people missing. But then all we have to share the day with them is this picture.

Tbh none of the five people in the back row are cracking a proper smile. That's what makes the photo seem kind of tense. Front row: lovely. Aside from Harry's weird sartorial choices.

Someone tipped off the press. Instagram doesn't let you zoom in on the photos properly so I can't really judge Meghan's dress. I like Kate's Stella M, it's more youthful than her coat dresses.

The biggest problem I have with a private christening is we can’t get a look at the frocks properly. A picture of them walking in would do me!
