I find nude works better under white than white which can imo sometimes show

Well it’s lovely but barely there so I’m sure you stood out if you were out shopping. It’s a long time since I have been able to go in a garden centre looking like that 😀 so make the most of it while you can!

I've started a new job. I'm wearing the same old clothes I've had for years - over 10 years in some cases - and I was thinking I'd buy a new wardrobe as in my opinion they were barely charity shop cases. However almost every item has had compliments

So that is my top tip. Don't buy new clothes - just see new people

Looks lovely OP but I'm not sure I could wear it with my height. I do have a white summer dress which I like wearing, and yes nude undies are best.

No obviously 30 was just an arbitrary number plucked out of nowhere. I know 1 person who could look good in it but I don't move in very glamorous circles i guess.

That wasn't the dress I was expecting. Mind you, I wore a floaty maxi for the first time this summer and felt like actual royalty in it. The compliments were extremely gratifying, I'm 48.

I’m 31 & I’d rock a dress like that (albeit not white - I’m clumsy). I didn’t realise I had to dress much more conservatively now 😂 I bet you looked fabulous OP.

Who the hell wears white at a garden centre anyway? Perhaps you'd inadvertently leant against something and got a streak of misplace compost somewhere. That's the only way I'd get comments from 10 weirdos.

I picked up a lovely summer dress from a charity shop. I wore it to our local town last week and got lots of compliments.
