Her friends are more dressed up than she is!!

ElspethFlashman · 04/07/2019 19:26

I just think blue jeans are a bit "I'm off to a barbecue round my mates"? Nothing wrong with them, by any means. I just don't think it's a very dressed up look when celebs and RF routinely look quite dressy for Wimbledon.

mathanxiety · 04/07/2019 19:34

You can't go wrong with Clarins, I have found.

The jeans and blazer and heels look on MM is quite preppy, especially with the hat. I see many trim looking women in this look. I also see this look with the women in very smart flats.

I suspect the jeans signal that she is still on mat leave and that her visit was informal.

The vile comments under that DM link are gobsmacking. There is something very wrong with people who are so consumed with hatred.

Hihellohi · 04/07/2019 19:37

Ah ok @ElspethFlashman, see what you mean.
You know I was thinking today - I think I saw joely Richardson in a pink dress - and I thought some of these celebs get sooo dressed up for Wimbledon!! I can see how Meghan’s look is boring if you’re expecting day time wedding guest type glam.

ElspethFlashman · 04/07/2019 20:07

Charlene.

Chaz.

We need to talk about your choices.

Paradyning · 04/07/2019 20:10

Oh dear Char!

Laiste · 04/07/2019 20:10

The jeans are ok. But blue jeans and black suede stilettos on a hot summers day? Confused Why no lovely strappy sandals? Blazer is really tight round the arms, but love the little necklace :)

QueenOfTheAndals · 04/07/2019 20:10

Charlene looks great from the waist up. The less said about that skirt the better...

Where are the photos of Meg's shoes? I can only see ones of her sat down

Notmyrealname855 · 04/07/2019 20:18

Charlene... seriously don’t these ladies have stylists on speed dial?!

Notmyrealname855 · 04/07/2019 20:22

Oh was thinking about the young Dutch and Spanish princesses - would love for them to get cool stylists, like the guy who helps Yara Shahidi

mathanxiety · 04/07/2019 20:23

They're in the DM link, Paradyning

ElspethFlashman · 04/07/2019 20:30

She definitely suits the extra weight. I hope she'd keep it. I always hoped Kate would keep it too as she always looked amazing after birth.

But celebs never keep it sadly, they always feel they have to be 100lbs, whether it suits them or not!

AnneEyhtMeyer · 04/07/2019 20:32

That jacket is so tight on her - doesn't she buy a mirror with the £2.4 million? She looks an absolute fright.

QueenOfTheAndals · 04/07/2019 20:34

She doesn't look "an absolute fright" Hmm Maybe she was wearing an old blazer she already owned.

OP posts:
AppleKatie · 04/07/2019 20:41

The blazer does have a bit of an air of ‘bought before I was pregnant’ about it but no judgement here it’s a weird time after birth figuring out what fits you/what you should wear now.

And she looks amazing in the jeans wish I looked half that good in blue jeans.

Quintella · 04/07/2019 20:42

The blazer isn't amazing but she still looks nice! Seems to be having laugh with her pals.

ChardonnaysPrettySister · 04/07/2019 20:44

Of course her clothes are still tight. Nothing wrong with that. She had a baby all of five minutes ago.

AnneEyhtMeyer · 04/07/2019 20:45

I disagree. Bad choice of shoes, ill-fitting jeans, hair a mess and a jacket that is boxy and two sizes too small on the upper arms. An absolute fright. She's at Wimbledon not nipping out for a paper and a pint of milk.

QueenOfTheAndals · 04/07/2019 20:50

Is Wimbledon now a formal event? She wasn't in the royal box so I don't see the issue with jeans. It isn't an outfit that'll set the world on fire but she looks comfortable and appears to be having a nice time with her friends.

I'm also guessing the majority of the outfit is a rewear, something she was previously criticised for not doing.

OP posts:
AppleKatie · 04/07/2019 20:52

You’d probably have me arrested if you think that’s the ‘popping’ out for milk standard!!

Paradyning · 04/07/2019 20:52

I agree the black is too dark but I like the casual look in general.
Her hair doesn't look messy at all and as usual her makeup is immaculate.

Love the hat and necklace.

ScaryBunnyPainting · 04/07/2019 20:55

I think she looks terrific. And amazing for a woman on mat leave. I’m in my last days of mat leave and wish I looked that good. What’s wrong with her? I can’t see the problem?

Notmyrealname855 · 04/07/2019 20:55

It’s just a relaxed visit, ok it doesn’t fit v well but nice to see a re-wear.

What does shock me (hehe) is how did she survive in this heat? Was very very warm today! We were all melting!

Notmyrealname855 · 04/07/2019 20:57

Her hair isn’t messy! She looks very sleek - and even more so for being on mat leave!

I wear my pjs when I pop out for milk...
