Maybe wrong but as Eugenie has had back surgery maybe plays up at times & she just needs to be comfy! I have RA & there are times I just think stuff it - I need my comfy shoes even when dressed up.

She’s not royal, but I really wanted to mention Pippa’s Wimbledon wardrobe

I think she can really pull off a summer dress; and I think it gives you an idea what Kate would wear if she felt less constrained by her role.

Fab Pippa outfit. The Panama is very Meghan.

Queen, perhaps she is in a different time zone! I’m 3 or 4 hours ahead of the UK and often catching up on the thread before the UK wakes up

I love those shoes in the second photo Curly posted - they would have looked great with the dress.

Love the Wimbledon outfit, another absolute gem for me. Love the black on white, adore the tiny bag, and I even like the shoes. I think the block looks more fashionable than a slim heel, I rarely see anyone in them in daytime at the moment.

Not keen on the black bow belt, but I guess she wore it to tie in with the Wimbledon bow, as is her matchy matchy way.

In that Pippa piece, sixth picture down in the green dress... someone else's leg makes it look rather unfortunately like she has a bare bottom! 😁

I remember seeing the wall of press after George was born and thinking it must actually be a bit scary.

It’s like that footage from the Remembrance Day service, with shutters just clicking and flashes going off in a constant barrage. I don’t know how anyone could stay relaxed in the face of all that madness.

It would be a nightmare - they earn their privileges!

Must be the same on any private visit too, once the word gets out, crowds start to gather.

Love Eugenie's dress in the plastic free pics. I wish she'd wear more like this (albeit without the boots which aren't very seasonal!).

I had ANOTHER RF dream last night. This time it was William & Eugenie. I was talking and laughing with William on the school run. I even had my arm round his shoulders (would never happen in real life, he's a foot taller than me!.) He was talking about the cousins Whatsapp group and how they rip the piss out of him mercilessly all the time. Eugenie then turned up to confirm. Wearing the outfit that we were discussing last night!

And pippa's outfit is great too. One of her best. Not sure about DoC's outfit - it was a bit too staid for the event, but I loved the bag. I think she could wear more relaxed/fashionable midi dresses and still look poised and appropriate.

Liked Kate's dress yesterday but agree the shoes were wrong. I actually love espadrilles and if I was wearing this dress I would wear my black ones with it to keep it summery. Or some high black wedges. I love her bag.

Pippa looked great.

Eugene looked lovely but definitely more of a winter outfit.
