To find it difficult to choose an everyday lipstick with a hint of colour?

I like to wear a moisturising lipstick or a lip balm with a little colour in it everyday. I've been using one that I bought on holiday last year which really suited my skin tone and gave me a boost of colour, kind of light berry. It wasn't a known brand and I accidentally threw it in bin when I was decluttering my handbag yesterday! I've often spent money on good brands such as Clinique and then realized they were the wrong colour for me after a few wears. Can you recommend your go to everyday lipstick or lip balm with moisturiser and in a light berry colour, nothing too over the top. Also, how do you go about choosing the right shade where you're whole face comes alive?!!!! I'm willing to spend up to £30. Btw just finishing lunch break so won't be back on this thread until this evening. TIA

Clinique almost lipstick in black honey. Looks dark in tube but comes out a lovely sheer berry

I got this from a recommendation on here, it’s a lovely sheer texture. You can buy brand new testers on eBay if you don’t want to commit to the full price/size.

Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood lips. They'll try the colours on you in the shop before you buy. My favourite is pillow talk but it might be too light for you.

Another fan of Burts Bees, and they sometimes have them on offer in Sainsburys then I stock up.

Also Clarins instant light lip perfector, little bit of a gloss, I often buy these in a set as they are better value, currently using No 6 a rose/beige colour which is lovely but also like the natural No 1 and No 3 which is more of a nude.

I went into Bodycare yesterday (why can I not get liquid hairspray) anyway I saw a lipstick called technic colour max, nude edition in Stripped, its really nice as an everyday just there lipstick and the cost 99P!

Just counted how many lipsticks etc in my bag.....7! Including ones from Japan, India an Germany..I collect them!

Hi

I love the Body shops frosted berries lip balm. It is in a silver tin and it's a beautiful berry colour whilst also being a balm. My only issue is that I went into body shop recently to buy a new one and the shop assistant said it wasn't their product....I showed her the balm and hand cream as both were in my bag and she looked like I had grown two heads! So I'm not sure if it is difficult to find. I dont like wearing lipstick but this is a perfect in between.

Korres do good tinted balm too. Frog Prince is v pink on me.

I only ever use tinted lip balm as lipstick looks really awful on me!

I have lots - Burt's Bees are great as are the Korres ones mentioned above - very moisturising too.

I'd also recommend EOS lip balm which you can get in a lot of shops now - I got a couple of lovely tinted ones in TK Maxx recently and they last really well.

How about the Maybelline Baby Lips lip balms?

I use them sometimes.

I've found my people - and it looks like we all gravitate toward the same products! I'm always collecting this kind of balm/ tint thing.

I adore Burt's Bees Red Dahlia. Best I've tried, closely followed by Korres Rose.
I've bought Burt's Bees Rose before but didn't like the shade as much.

Nivea tinted balms are cheap and cheerful but the colour sort of sits on top in a not nice way.
A friend likes the Lanolips tinted balms.

Lipstick Queen Medieval is on my list.

No 7 has a tinted balm in a tube that seems good and comes in a couple of red/ berry tones, I tried in store but haven't bought.

For proper lipstick Bobbi Brown has lots of 'hint of colour' natural shades. MAC Plumful and Capricious are great berries, both are their sheer range so very buildable colour.
Also love Estee Lauder Pure Colour Envy lippies, super moisturising. I have a berry ish one called Irresistible I think.

Clinique almost lipstick in black honey
Thanks to those who suggested this. I got my tester from eBay just now and it seems just what I'm looking for.
