Bought the Lacura Smoky eyeshadow palette today, it's bloody gorgeous! The colours are fantastic and they're highly pigmented. It was £5.99.

Also the concealer for £3.99. This is very very excellent. I used it to,conceal my under eye shadows and it works a great. Really brightens the area too. I'm going back tomorrow to get a couple more.

Liked the look of the lipsticks but there were no testers.

You are lucky - I can’t find the concealer anywhere and it’s out of stock online constantly. Will keep looking though if it’s that good.

I do love the skincare there - my whole family use the moisturiser that’s like Nivea that’s about £1.40

IlluminatiConfirmed · 10/06/2019 22:28

Aldi is so awesome. Haven't tried their beauty stuff yet - great to hear good reviews!

wonderwooman · 10/06/2019 22:29

Also bought the radiance concealer - was very impressed so also went back and bought another!

Have used their Touche Eclat copy concealer before but prefer this one. I have really dark shadows and it seems to provide much better coverage!

CutesyUserName · 11/06/2019 09:23

Their CC cream is incredible. Far, far better than any other I have tried. I've ditched my Estee Lauder Double Wear (having used it for decades) since discovering it.

MinesaPinot · 11/06/2019 09:26

I've bought the concealer, and the Rose oil - both fab.

Had a disaster with the Liz Earle-alike Hot Cloth Cleanser though. After a week of thinking it was brilliant I stocked up and then, typically, about a week later my face was dry and spotty. It can only be the cleanser as it was the only thing I changed, so now I'm left with 4 tubes of cleanser that is completely useless for me. Happy to pass on if anyone wants them - pm me if you do. Same with the Aldi Pixi dupe as well.

SuckingDieselFella · 11/06/2019 09:30

I got a moisturiser there which made my asthma worse. It was the fragrance in it. I've never had this reaction with any other brand.

TheFutureMrsB · 11/06/2019 09:35

@MinesaPinot I'll happily give them a new home, just trying to figure out how to pm on app!

LoafofSellotape · 11/06/2019 09:40

I tried the CC years ago but it just disappeared on my skin, I wonder if they've changed it.

The 8hr cream dupe is amazing ,I prefer it to the original.

I use the concealer but didn't know there was another sort,I'll give it a go,our Aldi is pretty well stocked usually.

The lipsticks are good ,really god usually, but this time the colours were too dark for me.

LoafofSellotape · 11/06/2019 12:27

I bought the concealer, it's great,I don't love it as much as the fantastic Revlon eye brightener but it's good!

nelsonmuntzslingshot · 11/06/2019 12:31

Love the 8hr cream and have got one of the hot cloth cleansers currently gathering dust so I need to try that.

Another gem I've discovered recently is the Lacura 48 hour roll on deodorant. It really does keep you fresh all day! Before that I was paying £6.99 for one from Boots.

Here are two of the lipsticks

Scion123 · 11/06/2019 19:20

What’s the 8hour cream dupe called please?

SrSteveOskowski · 11/06/2019 19:22

You're so lucky that you can buy from Aldi online in the UK. We can't here in Ireland :(

Figure8 · 11/06/2019 19:23

I'm pretty sure their face washer is a vibrator in disguise

stucknoue · 11/06/2019 19:29

They don't stock make up here alas, I keep trying new branches

ElasticFirecracker · 11/06/2019 19:38

The CC cream is bloody marvellous, but I haven't seen it for ages, they've had BB cream which isn't so good. Mine has just finished and I'm keen to get another.

Was searching online for one the other day unsuccessfully.

The 8 hour cream is great, cannot remember the name, it's less stiff than 8 hour but that makes it easier to use as overnight hand cream.

SrSteveOskowski · 11/06/2019 19:43

Their dry shampoo (yellow can) is brilliant, but they've just discontinued it :(

I hate the fact that you never know if something is being discontinued, so you don't get the chance to stock up.
Same thing with their eye-gel too. I've bought one in Lidl instead, but it's just not as good.

LoafofSellotape · 11/06/2019 20:15

I'm pretty sure their face washer is a vibrator in disguise

I thought the same too Blush

KaliforniaDreamz · 11/06/2019 20:16

Lacura Miracle Cream - even looks like 8 hour cream, i prefer it too, it's runnier.
I like the mascara - the red one.
The Liz Earle hot cloth thingy dupe is ok not as good as LE.
i don't like the Tinted Day Cream.

Auldspinster · 12/06/2019 12:04

I've got the eight hour cream dupe and their rose oil, both are very good.

KaliforniaDreamz · 12/06/2019 14:35

is the rose oil ok for sensitive skin Auld?

nelsonmuntzslingshot · 12/06/2019 15:18

LoafofSellotape · 12/06/2019 15:51

I'm using the concealer today,go easy on it,it's very heavy duty!

Auldspinster · 12/06/2019 16:22

I have rosacea and it hasn't broken me out @KaliforniaDreamz .
