Does anyone have any insider info on whether M & S are doing a Summer beauty box this year? I bought their boxes for the past two years and they were fab value but I'm sure they were available by this time in the year? Got a few bits I'd like to buy but holding off just in case!

If I do go for the box, there is an option to go for recomended by a friend. As I have no friends there is no one on Latest in Beauty, is it a benefit to anyone? Eg do you get a freebie? If so, message me, and I'll put you in, assuming I give in to temptation. Bear

Thank you for the heads up! I bought the summer beauty box today, together with the school uniforms which were on 20% as well.
I will use most of products, glad there are no garish nail polishes or lipsticks. Not a fan of Rosie's range.
The perfume is not my top choice but OK. It just doesn't smell like cherry blossom at all, it's a rather synthetic old-fashioned scent.

Not a fan of the perfume either. I don't really rate the brand at all. I sold the one form my xmas advent calendar on eBay for £7.50 so potential to get a chunk of your money back if you sold it perhaps?

I also thought the box was disappointing compared to last years. But with these boxes/advent calendars, I have stumbled across some truly fabulous products and have gone on to buy full size versions. So I kind of look forward to discovering something new. (And even though I don't need another drawer full of sample sizes, I will get the advent calendar again this year!!)

Has anyone got the beauty box? I’ve used the mask and it was a very strange sensation. Wet soggy tissue over my face. But my skin does look tighter and lifted.

The highlighter doesn’t seem to show up on my skin, any clues oh, wise ones?

raisinsraisins · 23/06/2019 16:44

I’ve used the highlighter and quite like it for the summer, although I still wouldn’t buy it. I just used it at the top of my cheekbones and it has a golden shimmer.

FredaFox · 23/06/2019 17:57

I bought it up agree not as good selection as in the past, some decent enough stuff and handy sizes, it's the single use stuff I'm Disappointed with, where's the ma ke up nails or full sized products?
Never tried a subscription box but might look into those mentioned

DobbyTheHouseElk · 23/06/2019 18:10

The vitamin c single use mask was a very strange sensation. It’s dripping wet and it didn’t seem to fit my face. I was glad to take it off after 10 mins. Smells nice, and my skin is really soft now.

Smellslikebiscuits · 23/06/2019 21:46

Dobby, did you remove the papery/plastic sheets either side of the mask?
I’ve just done mine and when I first put it on couldn’t work out why it was so loose, then realised I needed to remove the sheets, then the mask almost shrink wraps to your face.
I actually loved the mask so much I might buy another box just for this!

DobbyTheHouseElk · 24/06/2019 09:59

Oh no!!! @Smellslikebiscuits I didn’t. What a fool! How embarrassing. I wondered why it didn’t fit my face. 😂😂😂

DobbyTheHouseElk · 24/06/2019 10:02

I’ve looked on the M&S website and the mask is £14. Oh dear, what a waste. For one mask that’s so expensive.

Fibbke · 24/06/2019 10:05

I could have bought it at the weekend but after the nice sales assistant had talked me through it I thought not. Worth 140?? Give over. It was barely worth 20!

DobbyTheHouseElk · 24/06/2019 10:14

I don’t think it’s worth £140. But to me it was worth £15.

SegregateMumBev · 24/06/2019 10:22

I'm quite happy there is no nail varnish or lipstick!

Handy size sun lotion, and the perfume is to my taste, it's in my handbag.
Tanned legs - useful for bare legs (if we get any sun)
Love the shower gel

Tried the under eyes patches at the weekend, they felt very odd. But they did improve the appearance of my under eye bags.

DobbyTheHouseElk · 24/06/2019 10:24

The shower gel was in last years box and I love it.

MysweetAudrina · 24/06/2019 10:29

It was still very good value for 15 quid. I will use most of it. I really like the perfume, am wearing it today and the suncream will be great for holidays as will the shower gel and other bits. I needed to stock up on a few bits for holidays so didn't mind spending the qualifying amount. €50 in Ireland.

Fibbke · 24/06/2019 10:30

I saw it as 15 i would never have spent otherwise.

RingtheBells · 26/06/2019 14:05

The Sparks sale has started so I popped the beauty box in with my sale stuff, I probably wouldn't have bothered as normally would have had to spend £40 on full price stuff but it is surprising how a few sale bits and bobs can add up Smile

TantricTwist · 26/06/2019 16:09

I'm quite happy there is no nail varnish or lipstick Me too!

I really like this box and more than happy to have paid £15 for it as I'll be using everything in it. I like that most items haven't been in their boxes before.
