I’m looking for some nice embroidered loafers for work. Are these appropriate for a 36 year old?

Not many sizes left as this pair are in the sale but I always see embroidered shoes in their store window so they might have more or others in store.

My sister is 60 and wears shoes very similar to these. I'm 49 and wouldn't, but it's entirely due to personal preference and style, nothing to do with age.

MollyHuaCha · 26/05/2019 10:26

They just say 'comfy for little old lady' to me.

AnyFucker · 26/05/2019 10:28

Have a look at Fly London shoes for that same squishy comfort if that is what you are after

Bananamint · 26/05/2019 10:30

Sorry but I don’t like them. I’m 57 and I wouldn’t wear them. Too much embroidery going on and I don’t like the wedge.

Dippypippy1980 · 26/05/2019 10:31

I really don’t like the embroidery on shoes do they have to have embroidery? Difficult to do without looking frumpy😬😬😬

I love these - dune

They're not really my cup of tea but they're a lot nicer than those ugly overpriced slippers moccasins.

ineedtostopbeingsolazy · 26/05/2019 10:32

They look a bit like traditional Swiss costume shoes, sorry.

neveradullmoment99 · 26/05/2019 10:33

I don't like them because they are old fashioned looking and something my mum would have worn to school ( she was a teacher) years ago. I like the espadrilles someone posted. Much nicer.

Bluebluered · 26/05/2019 10:33

fraggle I love those deichman ones, unfortunately not in my size. I could drive down to pick them up from most local shop though 🤔

No, I don't like the seam.

babysharkah · 26/05/2019 10:37

They look like they should be part of a scandic National dress.

Dippypippy1980 · 26/05/2019 10:37

Some I really like - but might not be your cup of tea

Christ, they are fugly, no on every level. Sorry OP.

NiteFlights · 26/05/2019 11:14

They’re awful. Also, they’re not loafers (not that it really matters).

TSSDNCOP · 26/05/2019 16:35

Goodness they're absolutely hideous. I imagine them as flower planters on an Austrian chalet.

ZaZathecat · 26/05/2019 16:38

How about these from ASOS?

TwistedBiscuit · 26/05/2019 16:38

They look a bit like traditional Swiss costume shoes, sorry.

Yes I was going to say Swedish folk costume, like their Crown Princess wears on the national holiday.

But if you like them OP, wear them. Smile

DameXanaduBramble · 26/05/2019 16:39

They really are hideous

TheWaiting · 26/05/2019 16:59

DameDoom, those Bobbies ones look like you’ve been baking in them.

KittyMcKitty · 26/05/2019 17:02

I wouldn’t wear them (I’m 53) however if you like them that is the important thing.

Sarcelle · 26/05/2019 17:36

53, no way would I wear them.

pilates · 26/05/2019 17:39

Awful, sorry

Bluebluered · 26/05/2019 17:48

😂 some of these comments.
