Bea looks very pretty despite the awful dress. It's like an explosion in a 1980s Austrian blind factory. I love the cut of Eugenie's dress, but agree with the poster who said she needs a stronger colour.

Mette looks like she just has tired puffy skin, to me Queen. Bad night's sleep, maybe?

MM has a life limiting illness. It was announced last year I think.
She may well be on medication; eg steroids and also she’s not wearing make up.

Harry has been out and about loads since Archie was born.
I was wondering who Meghan hangs out with whilst Archie is at home?
The majority of her friends are overseas so she doesn’t have that circle of old friends with kids nearby.
Also no not group or mother and baby group. The usual channels to make friends with a newborn. I think she may be a bit lonely. (I had a baby overseas and it took ages to build up a network)

Maybe Meghan's joined some local NCT groups?? Harry's engagements are only for a few hours a day and not everyday so I'm sure he gets plenty of time at home. I never made any "mum friends" while on maternity leave but I've always been fairly content with my own company and didn't make a huge effort to go to baby groups etc.

It would be good for her if she did. However; they are wary of their privacy, so chances are; unlikely.
She’s probably like any new mum; knackered; figuring it out and probably on WhatsApp a lot to her mummy friends overseas.

I always think it must be uber weird for Mette Marit’s older son to sort of grow up within the royal family. He doesn’t appear in ‘official’ pictures with his siblings and Mum.

I thought Eugenie looked great, although agree a slightly darker colour would be better. Beatrice looked good overall but god that dress was a monstrosity!?

I have long maintained that harry and Philip are spitting images. I was watching a documentary around about the diamond jubilee I think and there was a scene of Philip boarding Brittannia. And it was harry to a tee. I paused it and made DH come and look. At the time, there were still the odd rumours about Harry's parentage and I remember saying to DH, anyone who thinks he's not Charles' just needs to look at this picture to be convinced. It's hilarious.

Incidentally, I also think Harry has been out and about quite a lot but I guess two weeks paternity leave are up now.

I wouldn't be surprised if there is an informal NCT-group within their broader circle. It just must be hard for Meghan to be here when her good friends are in the US. I fully expect to see her decamp to LA at some point.

@noseoftralee For a while he was included in everything and had his own page on the official Norwegian royal family site. But a few years ago they announced that he wouldn't be taking part in public life anymore and all his details were removed.

He must be in his 20s now and at university, though I think he does some modelling too. Some years ago he was the cause of a security breach as he was uploading their holiday snaps to Instagram and adding the location!

I wonder whether Harry is one of HMQ’s favourites and his joy in becoming a parent is giving her a lot of pleasure. As he looks like a young Philip and must have worried her a huge amount when he was younger she’s probably relieved he’s found happiness. Eugenie being such a beautiful happy bride must also have been a great pleasure for a granny.

I was also looking through their IG at photos of Meghan's visit. There was talk at the time about her wearing head-to-toe designer gear for the visit but it's quite clear that although she wore one of her OdlR coats to get there, she discarded it as soon as she arrived and was wearing a plain black maternity dress underneath.

The Hello mag article is interesting. I don’t blame him for opting out of royal life. It must have been strange to have been thrust into royal life as a child without having been born into the life

Just been reading about Pulmonary Fibrosis. It does not have a good prognosis at all.
I hope Mette Marit’s son gets back to Norway to spend lots of time with his mum.
Can completely understand him opting out of Royal life given the choice.
