Is Brigitte really small or is she standing a bit further back? I don't think the York sisters are particularly tall! Eugenie's dress is a bit of a snooze and looks more suited to someone her mother's age. And is Beatrice is wearing an Alice band? Though maybe they should be renamed Kate bands!

I love HM's hat. HM does wear some fabulous hats!

Birgitte has good sensible shoes on. Quite right. And she's standing further back.

Letizia back on form in red. Ferregamo but I'm sure I've seen similar at Zara recently.

Birgitte is one of the unsung heroines of royal fashion. Last year she wore an orange dress and green hat to Ascot and looked fabulous.

Is it just me who thinks the Duke of Gloucester has a Clark Kent air about him? He always looks so mild-mannered and unassuming.

@Paradyning I love your kindness to Stephanie, commenting on her manicure rather than her unfortunate trousers! I wonder if it was partly the photograph that made them look so bad?

Re: CPV's scraped back hair - I think @QueenOfTheAndals has a theory about her having shares in a hair gel company?!

I actually think the cut and shape of Eug's dress today really works well on her. The v-neck crossover/wrap top flatters her shape and is a very welcome departure from those wretched high necklines she often favours, and which as we've all said before do not suit her ample bosom.

Though I agree that the colour of Eug's dress is rather insipid.

Agree that the neckline is far more flattering than the high necked Erdems but Eug can carry off stronger colours.

Love the look on both of the York sisters - Bea really suits stronger colours and the cut of Eugenie's dress is spot on though the colour is a bit meh. That type of neckline really suits her though and shows off her fabulous figure.

If we were going to House of Colour the royals then... Eugenie and Meghan winter, Beatrice and Kate autumn, Sophie summer?

Max seems very busy. Here she is today in one of those gigantic hats she loves - and wearing some extraordinary earrings! I'm not convinced about the matching gloves, but what a nice photo of her and Wax together.

Wax always looks so proud of Max and like he can't believe his luck.

I feel like we've seen earrings like them on these threads before but I can't remember who it was.

Beatrice has the horrid flaps, frills, and flower patterns though! I really strongly dislike her dress today, unlike Eugenie's which is lovely.
