Help me buy a new waterproof coat with hood

Can anyone please help me buy a coat for this ridiculous weather. Something waterproof with a hood, upto or below knees. Something trendy, without too many pockets and shoulder flaps. I have a big chest.

No sea salt recommendations please. I bought the long sea salt coat in blue, and found that the grandmother (70’s) of a child in my youngest child’s class was wearing it too. I’m 36. So I’ve folded it up and tucked it away at the back of my wardrobe.

Ha ha I've got the Janelle too and can't get on with it.

I thought it ticked all my boxes: bit of shape at the waist, good length (I don't see the point of a waterproof coat if it's above the knee) not black or anything jaunty. But I just don't feel good in it although I can't fault it for efficiency. I'm debating whether I can afford to get something else this winter.

So don't feel too bad op, even us older women get it wrong sometimes too. Grin

Yeah it’s very efficient but horrible. You don’t realise until you see someone else wearing it.

I’ve just ordered the uniqlo one in navy. Apparently it comes up big so bought medium and hope it fits.

I've been tempted by UNIQLO raincoats in the past, but never actually got one
let us know how you get on!

I’d recommend trying the Zara website - I’m in my 30s and I’ve got a khaki one from there that fits your criteria. I’ve had mine over a year but you might find something similar.
