Or as my 10 year old daughter has said do I look like a "granny which is trying to be cool"
Charming!

Fashionable? Not at all.

Do you like it? Crack on.

Miniloso · 18/05/2019 17:34

Not fashionable but nice and youthful!

IsThisValidEnough · 18/05/2019 17:36

I wouldn't say fashionable but I wouldn't say granny!

Mummyshark2018 · 18/05/2019 17:43

Not fashionable but not terrible. The style of skirt suits you though I would tuck the top in as you gave a lovely figure.

RogueV · 18/05/2019 17:44

Not fashionable
Not youthful
Awful

cookiechomper · 18/05/2019 17:47

It's not awful. It's not something I'd wear myself but I wouldn't look at someone wearing it and say "wow what an awful skirt."
It's alright.

BlythesEyes · 18/05/2019 17:49

I'd wear it on holiday in a very hot place, or round the house and gardening..but not out and about in this country. Not sure if that is helpful or not. Sorry.

HintOfRaspberry · 18/05/2019 17:52

Id tuck the top in I think, but apart from that, I like it

FilledSoda · 18/05/2019 17:52

It's fine, perfect for the warmer weather .
I much prefer dresses and skirts to trousers although this would be too short for me.
I know nothing about what's in fashion , I couldn't care less , I just wear what I like .

Vegisgrowingwell · 18/05/2019 17:59

Grin ok a bit of a fail here then.

I'm looking for something to wear for work which is comfy but also cool if we have hot weather.

I got this from next, should have known better as I've not liked much in there but thought this looked ok! I don't love it but thought it looked quite good if a bit mumsy if anything.

Will take fashion advice from my 10 year old in future!!!!

It's fine for work. It's not bad, just a bit bland but fine for the office. Looks nice on you.

SecretWitch · 18/05/2019 18:02

Love the blue❤️ Not crazy for the red

UCOinanOCG · 18/05/2019 18:06

I really like it. However I am 56 and not really a style icon! If you like it wear it. Who cares?

MummyDummyNow · 18/05/2019 18:09

Sorry OP I think it looks quite dated and for the want of a better word, Mumsy.

UnicornDaisy · 18/05/2019 18:16

It's not fashionable as such but I do like it, it's flattering and looks good on you Smile

cocomelon23 · 18/05/2019 18:17

I find next is awful for womens clothes. Their mens and kids departments are brilliant. Not sure why the womens clothes are so awful Confused

LadyOfTheCanyon · 18/05/2019 18:19

You've got a cracking figure OP, but I don't think either skirt is anything special. A good quality denim skirt in the same length would look great on you and show off your wonderful legs. Or a linen skirt with a paper bag waist?

TigerCubScout · 18/05/2019 18:23

I like it.
To those saying it's not fashionable - what type of skirt is in fashion at the moment?

weebarra · 18/05/2019 18:29

It's absolutely fine for the office on a nice day. Won't set the heather on fire, but it's quite nice.

Dippypippy1980 · 18/05/2019 18:30

I don’t really like it to be honest.

Not sure if it’s fashionable - but I just go with what I like rather than what’s on trend.

I couldn’t wear something like that too work - too casual.

Lweji · 18/05/2019 18:34

The red and the blue are not the same.
I prefer the blue. The pattern, as I like both colours.

But I would never say patterned skirts are fashionable. Not that I know fashion. Grin

Cloverisover · 18/05/2019 18:36

It's a nice everyday skirt and suits you. It's no different to loads of skirts I've seen posted on s&b that have received positive comments. You just have a tough crowd today. Although Next isn't known for cutting edge fashion I suppose.

GraceMarks · 18/05/2019 18:41

I think the length is what stops it from qualifying as 'fashionable'. It's midi or nothing at the moment! However, there is nothing inherently wrong with the skirt, and it looks fine on you. To me, though, it looks more like a holiday garment than something you'd wear to work, unless you have a pretty casual dress code.

Fairylea · 18/05/2019 18:42

You know I think it could look fashionable with a completely different top. Something white (or cream - I can’t tell which colour the skirt has in it) and more fitting than the one you’ve put it with. Square necklines are very “in”. That would pull it together.
