They're these from Asos. They are comfy for me, proper denim, no stretch, but think a bit high crotched?

For reference, I'm a size 6, 5ft 3 with long legs and shortish torso!

They don’t really do anything for you. I think the newer slim leg style would suit you a lot better if you want to go high waist.

EvilEdna1 · 13/05/2019 11:07

They remind me of the jeans I used to wear as a child in the 80s and not in a good way. They are really shapeless. I am not fashionable though.

Duster12 · 13/05/2019 11:07

What shoes will you be wearing with them?

Stumpedasatree · 13/05/2019 11:08

Thank you! As I thought. I would have worn them rolled up with trainers.

They remind me of jeans I wore as an early teen too.

Branleuse · 13/05/2019 11:12

i think they look fine. Theres a lot to be said for having a really comfy pair. You dont need to tuck tshirt in tho

sheshootssheimplores · 13/05/2019 11:14

You have a beautiful figure. Personally I would go for a more slim fitting jean.

Verite1 · 13/05/2019 11:16

Don’t like them I’m afraid. Not very flattering either bearing in mind you are only a 6.

Ariela · 13/05/2019 11:24

I wear this style with steel toe capped boots for mucking out the horses.

NannyRed · 13/05/2019 11:28

If you want to look like a man, they’re fabulous.

I don’t think they do anything for you at all. I’d not wear them, I’d not want my adult daughters wearing them, they look ugly and shapeless.

Stumpedasatree · 13/05/2019 11:42

It's ok, I don't want to look like a man Grin. They are going back.

I think they look great.
They fit you really well and you say they are comfy, why would you not keep them?

banivani · 13/05/2019 15:03

My daughters who are young and thin wear them and I think they look great. On me they look a little to like the real thing.

Fresta · 13/05/2019 17:59

Nanny - what a strange comment! Why wouldn't you want your daughters wearing those jeans? Does it matter if they like them? Jeans change shape with the fashion and looser jeans are becoming popular- They are ok if that's the look you like- it's quite fashionable to have this style rolled up and wear shorter with sandals or trainers.

CountFosco · 13/05/2019 18:35

I think they look good, probably roll up a bit at the bottom but these are a lot more fashionable than skinnies.

DontCallMeShitley · 13/05/2019 18:46

What do they look like rolled up? It can make a lot of difference.

Stumpedasatree · 13/05/2019 19:46

I didn't try rolling them up :( they are back off to Asos now.

Good call- you looked like you were off to wash the car in those....

WhoKnewBeefStew · 13/05/2019 22:15

You look like you’ve got a lovely figure but you can’t really tell. Not v flattering I’m afraid

Wowserme · 13/05/2019 22:17

You have a lovely figure... buy some skinny stretch jeans, these can be rolled up and will look good up or down
You’ve got a fabulous figure so show it Off. X

banivani · 14/05/2019 12:30

I thought the jeans looked great, very young-looking and modern.

StateofIndependance · 14/05/2019 12:34

Skinny jeans are old hat now. You simply will not look fashionable in them. So if that's a concern you gotta try these other styles.

spanishwife · 14/05/2019 12:34

I thought they looked great, but need a more modern cut t-shirt and hairstyle, so unless you are very chic and trendy throughout your entire look, a no go really.

WeThreeKingsofOrientAre · 14/05/2019 12:37

If comfort is your aim, then keep them. If them being attractive or nicely fitted is a consideration then perhaps send them back? You could easily find a more flattering pair with your fab figure.
