I found 4160 because of MN but I'm pretty sure that none of the Perfumista crowd work for the company Grin

Langrish · 12/05/2019 10:23

Only 1 point, retinol solution.

Ninkaninus · 12/05/2019 10:25

TheCanterburyWhales · 12/05/2019 10:33

Ohtheroses- get the perfume Parlour dupe. It's better.

12!

BusterGonad · 12/05/2019 11:24

My retinol toner wasn't due to Mumsnet but a health and beauty book.
Stripy clothes from years ago when I tried on my friends stripy t shirt and everyone said it made me look really curvy on the right way. And then I bought a dress with stripes and my husband thought I looked great in it so I bought more! Grin
Converse due to wanting light weight trainers.
Estée Lauder DW I'm not sure about, I think I've googled it a million times and thought it sounded horrible, then I read about it from a make up artist who mixes it with serum or primer and I thought "sod it, let's try it" it's actually not that thick and is the only thing that withstands 40 degree heat!

YesQueen · 12/05/2019 11:28

9 points!

teta · 12/05/2019 13:24

Only 4.
4160 Tuesdays - the Ealing Green. I dislike the others.
Jo Malone - Nutmeg & ginger which is now discontinued.
Loafers. - yes.
Hush - Leopard silk cashmere scarf from several years ago.
I’m also waiting for the leopard print skirt from Brand
Alley.
Boden. - I used to buy Cashmere from there which turned into
Rags so stopped years ago. Adored the kids clothes .
When mine were little.

I should point out that I don't work for any of these companies! 😂

I just tried to list things that are popular here. I discovered all of these brands before seeing them mentioned on Mumsnet.

However, Mumsnet S&B has encouraged me to buy higher quality, more classic pieces and things that suit my colouring - but that can only be a good thing!

Oh, I didn't think you did, OP!
But I'm 100% a lot of posters (not on this thread) do.
Mind you, I've said the words Perfume Parlour so many times people probably think I work for them!

MardAsSnails · 12/05/2019 15:13
  1. Parlux, mulberry bag, converse and a Burberry trench (not all worn together)

And all of anna’s alternative list 😂

NiceLegsShameAboutTheFace · 12/05/2019 17:24

Only one: my Converse, which I love Smile

Ratonastick · 12/05/2019 17:45

Slightly embarrassing 11 on the first list. But a highly gratifying full house on the second. I have also spent the entire day in my dressing gown. I think I am a slob with delusions of adequacy!

FiremanKing · 12/05/2019 18:03

4160 Tuesdays perfume Don’t know what that is.
A skincare item containing one of the following: retinol, vitamin C, lactic acid, salicylic acid or glycolic acid. Yes
Babyliss Big Hair Yes
Bobbi Brown item No, I hate the range, poor quality and orange making
Diva, Dyson or Parlux hairdryer Dont like Parlux, gave the Dyson to my step daughter, never had a Diva I don’t think. Currently using a GHD Air and one by Tony & Guy. Both the same performance
Estee Lauder double wear foundation or advanced night repair serum Yes, but not used for awhile
Jo Malone item The brand has gone downhill so I have given most away but still have a few candles
Laura Mercier tinted moisturiser Yes, but not used for awhile
Lumea, Tria or similar hair removal device No
The Ordinary item I bought most of their range and gave it away as it’s all utter rubbish

Breton top or dress A top but not worn in ages
Boden clothing Yes. Not worn much lately
Hush clothing Not keen. I have a few things but not really my style
Loafers No
Modalu, Mulberry or Osprey handbag or purse Yes to all three
One of the following trainers or shoes: Converse, Superga, Stan Smith I hate converse, not keen on Superga but like the Pharrell Collaborations with Adidas/Stan Smith even though he’s a complete twat.
Trench coat - lots

DollyPartonsBeard · 12/05/2019 18:09

0 for the clothes (I live in Air Max/ Fila Disruptors and probably dress far too young for my age)

4 for beauty - glycolic acid toner (Superdrug own), The Ordinary Azaleic Acid, a Lumea and a Big Hair (for when I need my crazy curls to look fancy)
