I absolutely love make up, not the best at applying buy I enjoy giving it a go and trying new products. My most favourite item is Charlotte Tilbury Colour Chameleon in Dark Pearl which i use as eye liner. It lasts all day and I love how awake it makes my eyes look.

Love trying new products, what's everyone's holy trail make up item?

@EraOfTheGrey Is the Hourglass bluster a glowy one?

@Isthebigwomanhere Any Lancôme mascara in particular?

@windysowindy Charlotte Tilbury Eyes to Mesmerise are lovely cream eyeshadows which are so easy to use, really soft and blendable.

Garnier moisture nourish cream (pink tube)

Revlon black eyeliner

stoplickingthetelly · 10/05/2019 21:06

Oh I’ve got loads of favourites, but the ones that I use everyday are Nars sheer glow, hourglass ambient lighting palette and Chanel universal bronzer. A new favourite is hourglass scattered light eyeshadow.

AliceRR · 10/05/2019 21:12

Hourglass unlocked palette (think that one might not be available now but many of their powders and palettes have similar finish)

Laura geller double take foundation

Make up forever ultra hd concealer

Armani liquid corrector for under eyes

Guerlain meteorites

Benefit Dallas blusher

Kaz2200 · 10/05/2019 21:16

Laura geller balance n glow

Sexnotgender · 10/05/2019 21:17

Clinique even better glow foundation, absolutely love it.

Sparklyring · 10/05/2019 21:19

@Kaz2200 What's the Balance and Glow like compared to balance and brighten? I use Balance and Brighten in Fair every day and really love it but I do like a glowy look!

Trinny London BFF cream.
Nars Multiple in Orgasm.
Chanel undereye concealer in Rose.
Bobbi Brown concealer.
Benefit Hoola Light.
Benefit They’re Real Mascara.
Mac Pro Longwear eyeliner.

Kaz2200 · 10/05/2019 21:27

I love the balance and glow it has a more glowy finish I use it everyday over the ordinary serum foundation, on holiday I use it on its own. The only complaint I have is that every one is different I have had 3 and the colour has been slightly different. When away I pick out the lighter colours for highliter and the solid colour as eyeshadow. I usually buy the supersized ones off ebay.

EraOfTheGrey · 10/05/2019 21:34

@Sparklyring it's not overly sparkling but does a luminous finish.

goose1964 · 10/05/2019 21:35

Bare Minerals plumping lip gloss. I had it in a special one off colour and it was in my handbag when I left it on the train 😭
It tasted of tictacs

AliceRR · 10/05/2019 21:38

What's the Balance and Glow like compared to balance and brighten?

Personally I don’t like balance and glow, which is a shame as I bought two or three on an offer, thinking I’d like it. I find it doesn’t give me enough coverage and makes me look shiny and greasy. Id recommend you try before buying.

Their double take powder foundation is really nice and good coverage, balance and brighten gives a more natural look and slightly less coverage

Sparklyring · 10/05/2019 21:39

@EraOfTheGrey Love the sound and look of it! It looks a bit brown rather than pink on the photos. I'm wear a fair/calico foundation would it be too dark?

EraOfTheGrey · 10/05/2019 21:44

Sparklyring I'm super fair and cool toned, 1N1 Ivory Nude in DW. Its most definitely pink in tone, some plum mixed in too for good measure.

Sparklyring · 10/05/2019 21:46

@EraOfTheGrey I'm sold :-D Shouldn't have started this thread!

Makeup Revolution's Dragon's Heart Highlighter has become my holy grail blusher, I bought it on impulse but it makes my skin look amazing and really glowing.

It looks garish in the box but I swirl the brush over all the colours and its the most natural looking blush I've ever used Confused Grin

I also love the NYX blush in taupe for use as a very subtle bronzer.

Sparklyring · 10/05/2019 21:49

@AliceRR That was my concern about B&G, I like a glow not a shine. I wear B&B instead of foundation and really love it. I have clear skin so it does brighten and give a healthy look so was hoping the glow might be radiant rather than shiney.

@Sparklyring I have 3 Hourglass ambient lighting finishing powders and the blusher, at £40 each it is a very expensive hobby. I do love all of them and they last for ages.

I don't wear them all at once though. Grin

Sparklyring · 10/05/2019 21:53

@EraOfTheGrey It really is addictive! I just love nice make up :-) Glad to know the blusher lasts a while. Do you wear highlighter with it or is it glowy enough without it?

Greenteandchives · 10/05/2019 21:54

Benefit’s Benetint and Benebalm.
It’s all I need during the day.

greenelephantscarf · 10/05/2019 21:54

body shop bb cream

Judystilldreamsofhorses · 10/05/2019 21:59

Red lipstick - I have 100s, but the ones I reach for most often are Smashbox Bing, Laura Mercier Fire, and Hourglass Raven. Honourable mention to Fenty Candy Venom which is hot pink.

Hourglass ambient powder (Diffused Light) and blushes (Diffused Heat, and a pinky one).

Smashbox primer. Not very exciting, but works.

MAC False Lash Mascara - the waterproof one.

Also loving the new YSL highlighter I got recently.
