Which perfume is your go-to lately?

I'm 30 and I was using Olympia by paco rabanne (vanilla-ish) in the colder months but have now switched to juicy coutures new eau de toilette 'rock the rainbow' (light and fruity). I've also been using a little of of shaun mendezs as I have a couple of testers.

For dates/nights out ect... I always wear Armani code (the original blue one) because I think it's quite a seductive scent and because I love it :)

Do you have any favourite perfumes? What has been your go-to perfume this season?

Daytime : Sheer Radiance by M & S. Got it in the summer beauty box last year and love it. Cheap enough to spray liberally and always get compliments on it. Also like Clarins Eau Dynamisante.

Nightime : Chanel Allure. Been wearing it for years.

Mon Guerlain by Guerlain.

Lucked · 01/05/2019 10:03

Work- Cartier Basier Vole
Weekends - Elie Saab Girl of Now (playing to my audience as my kids love it, sweet and almondy)
Night-Estée Lauder Modern Muse Nuit

Was also given Caroline Herrera Good Girl for Christmas but haven’t worn it much yet.

Obsession by Calvin Klein. Classic and to me it smells divine

Swishyswash · 01/05/2019 10:10

Clinique's Happy for day time. Either Chanel Gabrielle or Dior J'Adore for evenings.

I've worn all sorts of perfumes over the years but seem to have settled on these three. Gabrielle is quite new, I really love it.

Youngandfree · 01/05/2019 10:12

Jo Malone- Peony and blush suede 💕

I just tried this when I was out today, it really settles nicely, definitely a nice fragrance. Your kids have good taste xD

A copy of Tom Fords Portofino ( I think)
It's in an azure bottle, the brand is JackJack and they sell it in pharmacies in Dublin. It's my everyday scent. It doesn't last. Sad
Chanel Jersey for "going out"

fairislecable · 03/05/2019 18:28

I have always worn Azuree’ by Estée Lauder ( decades!!).

I really like it but my skin is such that if I try a different perfume after a short while it will smell sweet.

I have only had success with Men’s cologne it must be one of the base notes.

Beach11 · 03/05/2019 18:34

Davidoff Run Wild, it’s new out. Floral/fruity mix, smells lush for sunny summer days

XingMing · 03/05/2019 20:24

4160 Tuesdays Rhubarb and Citrus for anyone who likes the Hermes Rhubarb. It lasts much better. The citrus fades a bit but it stays nice and close to the skin. You won't dominate the space at work, but it has some presence.

TacoFlavouredKisses · 03/05/2019 23:07

I just received the musk and vanilla sample packs from Sylvaine Delacourte after seeing them appear on my Instagram feed and they're beautiful... I want to buy one but can't decide which. Think they were £15 delivered for 10 testers!

FunnysInLaJardin · 03/05/2019 23:14

Jo Malone 154, but its too wintery. Also use Basil and Neroli which is nice but a bit sweet. Need a good spring perfume. My others are JM basil lime and mandarin which is a bit too fresh, Prada d'iris and Channel Christalle. Also eau dynamisante, but none are really springy enough!

64sNewName · 03/05/2019 23:23

ooh - will make a note of that one @XingMing

NaomifromMilkshake · 03/05/2019 23:47

I am a Chanel No 5 girl all day long...

This time four years ago I was diagnosed with cancer.

Won't bore you with the details, but it was touch and go.

Christmas 2015 right in the middle of it all, my DH bought me a bottle of Chanel No 5, eau de parfum.

My then 14 year old DS looked at it and said, oooooooooh Eau de Parfum.... he clearly expects you to live. Grin Grin

Bluesheep8 · 04/05/2019 06:54

Avon Timeless. It doesn't last on me though, just like everything else nowadays! I love it though, someone at work said it smells "like her grandmother's bedroom, old fashioned face powder and scented drawer liners" I like that description. It dies smell old fashioned and I'm a big fan of that.

Bluesheep8 · 04/05/2019 08:09

DOES not DIES!!

JudyDenchsBloomers · 04/05/2019 10:09

My day to day is Jo Malone Wood Sage & Sea Salt, lovely.

Lungelady · 04/05/2019 10:10

Byblos Biblioteque

BarbedBloom · 04/05/2019 10:12

I just got a lot from the Perfume Parlor and at the moment my favourite is probably Michael Kors. In the evening i wear Narciso Rodriguez in the pink bottle

TheCanterburyWhales · 04/05/2019 12:47

Funnys- if you haven't tried them give Yardley Jade (seriously, it's v similar to Cristalle but sharper) 4160 Ealing Green, Annick Goutal Eau d'Hadrien (soft lemon) AG Eau du Sud (zingy citrussy lime) or Liz Earle 1. They are all my spring-summer perfumes.

Naomi Grin

Bluesheep- that's a lovely description. The old Avon's are magnificent. I picked up 2 x 10ml Timeless yesterday from eBay as I have some old soaps but no perfume.

Stormwhale · 04/05/2019 12:48

Boss orange is my favourite at the minute. Its light and fresh.

TeaForTheWin · 04/05/2019 12:57

I've ordered a lot of testers from ebay over the last week, probably tried about 30 different perfumes and the funny thing is after all that, I still prefer juicy couture scents! I really like fruity smells though. But I worry at 30 I should be going for more mature smells...sod it, the nose wants what the nose wants xD

I'm wearing Beauty by Calvin Klein during the day. Knowing by Estée Lauder or Peony by Stella McCartney for evenings out. Have these 3 on the go at the moment.
Just finished a bottle of Tiffany which I absolutely adored.

LyingWitchInTheWardrobe2726 · 04/05/2019 21:23

I wear Creed Aventus always, it's for men really but I love it so much.

If I wear something else it's Vivienne Westwood 'Boudoir' or D&G Red.

I do like these threads, I have to go and look up some of these perfumes.
